REPORT: IMAM MUKTADA AL SADR ARRESTED

United States troops arrested radical Shiite Islam leader Imam Mukatada al-Sadr on Tuesday.

The report came from Hazem al-Araj, his closest associate who is the head of the Baghdad bureau 'Mahdi Army' group.

Dead would be better. Hopefully the IGC arranged this and is flexing it's authority. Maybe this mess has given them more legitimacy in Iraqi eyes.
