Perhaps it's just because I'm in a profession with a lot better speakers, but he does not look very impressive to me at all. Halting, stammering, etc. He did not at all answer Gregory's question about whether he's made a mistake, particularly in post-war Iraq. Just say, "In the military, you make a plan. Five minutes into the battle, a new plan needs to be drawn up."

Discussing the PDB. Asked for the report because of his G8 meeting that summer. Says threats were coming from overseas... PDB wasn't anything new. Newspapers had said the same thing. Says terrorism was a top priority as he met with Tenet daily.

Yes, and it goes all the way back to the 2000 election recount days. I remember Gregory doing some really absurd reporting where he made it obvious in his tone and facial expressions that he couldn't stand Bush.
