Kinda blows a hole the size of the Grand Canyon into this whole "Independent, Non-partisan" 9/11 Commission, eh?
The only person who previously knew about this memo was Gorelick and she was covering up to protect herself.

Thanks for posting this. I like Tom Kean, but he is a RINO par excellance, I must certainly will send him a strongly worded message on this subject.
If he and Kerrey care a whit about this commission they will give that woman the gate. Of course it is absurd, and the fact that she didn't reveal it to her fellow commissioners, and then tried to deny it, it's reprehensible.

The hearing have become nothing more than a circus. Emails to the 911 Commission are getting an out of office reply. Sen. Dewine's office got one as well. Keans comment that the public need to stay out of their business really set me off.

Everthing Clinton did was to protect Clinton. I suggest that Clinton wanted to restrict info sharing between FBI and CIA in order to protect investigations into potential criminal cases regarding his actions and the actions of his close friends. The "gag order" was Clinton's way to limit investigation into his affairs...why else would agents be threatened with their careers?
Perhaps Freepers can connect the dots and recall what investigations into Clinton would have been advanced had the FBI and CIA shared info.
It was always about Clinton.

I have emailed Thomas Kean on this and called just to make sure I was heard.You've done a good thing- I suspect the 'rats are going to be very sorry they chose to open this particular Pandora's Box... they should have learned from Enron that any taint from the Golden Age of Clinton will slime them worse than anyone else. But they just keep opening these doors into their own faces.

I cannot find in any of the articles, the "MEMO" itself, exact date that this "MEMO" was written and put into effect.
This "MEMO" seems to be case specific. So what "INTEL" was this WALL created to hide, "case specific".
Was it written shortly after the OK bombing, because bjclinton tried to blame "Rush radio" right wing extremists for OK. That was no accident!

I cannot find the exact date of the Gorelick MEMO, and upon reading it, it sounds "case specific".
Wonder why there is no date on the MEMO, when the "WALL" was put in place?

On Tuesday the Attorney General declassified and read from a March 4, 1995, memo in which Jamie Gorelick--then Deputy Attorney General and now 9/11 Commissioner-- On March 3, 1995, the [Congressional] task force issued an update [to federal agencies]. This "super-sensitive" alert stated there was a "greater likelihood the terrorists would strike at the heart of the U.S."
The warning indicated a terrorist attack was impending...
Ashcroft testified that the Gorelick memo was sent on March 4, 1995, which is one day after the Congressional task force on terrorism updated its alert to the DOJ that a terrorist attack was impending.
The text of the memo indicates that surveillance of [redacted] was already underway.
