We had a bet, remember?
In fact, you never accepted the bet as I presented it so I guess we didn't.

To: philman_36
I take you option. I saw it no different than my proposition.

I simply asked for you to affirm what you asserted. Ha Ha Ha!
If you're retired then how could the drinking age have been 21 "in your day" when it was 18 until 1980

How about we both agree not to respond to each other? Is that your way of admitting you cannot prove your false claim?

I take you option. I saw it no different than my proposition.Well, here was my "option"...
One twist...I will not post for a week if you show it, not say it, to be 21 yrs old in the sixties.
Are you trying to welsh on your bet?So, you see, as I see it I'm not the one welshing. you've yet to show me anything specific about Florida's drinking age in the sixties either.
Since it appears that you're not living up to your end of the "bet", as if your stupid wager was worth anything, then I would guess that the bet is off.
BTW...my game, if you haven't guessed it yet, is D&D...Distract and Divert. I've played it pretty well IMO. It sure has you distracted you and it surely diverted you from your usual antics...at least on this particular thread. LOL!
And an aside...do you get paid by the reply? It took you three tries to say everything you said wherein you actually said nothing. Like this one...
Ha Ha Ha!
Yeah, it shows you don't even know what a followup question is! Yep, laugh away...Did you forget the following? It seems you have... Please show where Fla. has ever had a 21 yr old drinking age prior to 1980!
You've still not done it even after you took "the bet".
HAHAHAHA! I'm laughing too.

Your attempt at history revision would be laughable if it was so easily verified by your own post.
How about we both agree not to respond to each other? I'll surely abide by it if you will. I tire of your silly games.

Your attempt at history revision would be laughable if it was so easily verified by your own post. How can I revise anything? Is letting you know that I'm messing with your game revising history? Is asking you if we don't post to each other revising history?
Aren't you the one who tried to revise history?
Please show where Fla. has ever had a 21 yr old drinking age prior to 1980!I asked first you know. That was the prologue. Everything after that was merely entertainment.

I haven't gone away, I just ignored you which is what I should've done from the beginning! I know well of you and your silly games.

I seem to be able to add another day of D&D to the others. Go do lunch. Be sure to clock out.
To: philman_36

"Give me a link to prove your claim that the MLDA in FL in the sixties was 18."
How about this one:
http://monitoringthefuture.org/pubs/occpapers/occ28.pdf It only starts at 1976, but I am sure the laws were the same prior to 1976. At the start of the graph, the age is 18. The age was raised to 19 in 1981 and then raised to 21 in 1986. In addition, the grandfather clause was in effect when the age was raised to 21.

Drugs are dangerous, no doubt about it. I started out experimenting with heroin. Before long I moved on to pot and now I'm in the gutter with a full blown addiction to Non Alcoholic Beer. If only I could seen the light before it was too late.

I am Canadian citizen eh! and I am sick and tired of hearing the same crap, over and over again "that we have the crack of marijuana, and that it is coming, into the US. What no one seems to mention is that it is being traded pound for pound for high grade "Cocaine". You should be glad that our pot is imported in to your country because it gets rid of your Cocaine that other wise would end up at your children's schools. I would like know the last time someone went out and killed some one while they where stoned from "pot alone". I am not saying that pot is benign but compared to alcohol or crack I think there needs to be a reality check and that the American Government should stop fear mongering there citizens. I see more people die on a daily bases from alcohol compared to the fact that I have never heard of someone dying from pot. Even if you say that it is the Crack of marijuana do you know of anyone that has overdosed from it alone now repeat that same question and apply it to drinking and Cocaine.
Ask your selves as educated people what is the real agenda and why is it that alcohol even though we know the evils of it is perfectly legal and cheap I might add.
Sincerely,
A Pist off and concerned Canadian
