April 16, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - New questions surfaced yesterday about 9/11 commissioner Jamie Gorelick's potential conflicts of interest after it was revealed she was more deeply involved in anti-terror efforts than has previously been known. Records obtained by The Post show that Gorelick, while serving in a top job at the Justice Department, met every two weeks with George Tenet, then the No. 2 official at the CIA, and headed then-Attorney General Janet Reno's national-security team.

Agreed. What you are suggesting about disbanding the 9-11 commission may very well happen if the Republican congress put a lot of pressure. However, whether it is disbanded or not, this 9-11 commission lost all its credibility and it is practically finished. The Democrats hopes that this 9-11 commission will help them politically are completely destroyed. This is a great victory for President Bush.

"Mentioned in the Wall Street Journall yesterday that Clinton was involved the Chinagate at the same time.....MAYBE: Illegal campaign contributions from the Chinese government.....CIA knew lots....Didn't want the FBI to know."

I believe that this is closer to the real reason why that WALL was built, and whatever happened as a result of the WALL was to be ignored. I also believe that is why the White House was filled with people who could not get a security clearance, they were the perfect bunch to follow orders and not be at risk of being nailed cause nobody really knew who was there and who was doing what. Except the Clintons.

All those pardons at the end of the Clintons reign was suppose to ZIP up their files on their dirty deeds.

I'm more inclined to think an oath before a Grand Jury would be more appropriate.

Amazingly, the same people that think Gorelick did no wrong are out demanding a new trial for Martha Stewart, based on the lie of a juror.

This is a great victory for President Bush.

This is why it cannot be disbanded. To do so would make the president look like he's hiding something.

I say that we need to ride the wave and have the democrats waste even more of their valuable campaign time. They are only telling on themselves.

We are at war. This is not the time to be doing this.

You are 100% correct! This whole farce is aiding and abetting the enemy.

And some guy on FNC was just saying that Gorelick was just a figurehead. Uh huh...

Even if it were true, it means that Clinton squandered the Federal Treasury on salaries for figureheads and political appointees, and so he should reimburse the Treasury. It's all for the Children!

Looks like Gorelick was instrumental in the corruption of TWA Flight 800 terrorism investigation too.

Did Clinton appointee corrupt Flight 800 probe?

Mentioned in the Wall Street Journall yesterday that Clinton was involved the Chinagate at the same time.....MAYBE: Illegal campaign contributions from the Chinese government.....CIA knew lots....Didn't want the FBI to know.

Hmmmmm....intriguing. Gore-lick sets up the wall to protect the Clintons, the Law of Unintended Consequences takes over from there.

Three days later, the two men discovered that Macy had decided to contest the Appeals Court's decision. When a furious Key confronted Macy, all that the "courageous, truth-seeking" DA told him was,

"They won't let me." When Key demanded to know who "they" were, Macy just lowered his eyes to the floor and repeated, "They won't let me."

[1]
Key later learned from a source at ABC News that Macy had received a conference call from Janet Reno's deputy

Jamie Gorelick,

and the government's lead prosecutor, Joseph Hartzler, along with Governor Keating, Oklahoma City Fire Chief Gary Marrs, and Judge Daniel Owens.Interestingly, during a debate on FOX TV with Representative Key, Keating stated, "Nobody could get away with a cover-up; it would not be tolerated by civilized Oklahoma City.... Nobody's afraid of the truth."

Daschle lost the 1978 election, demanded a recount, and with a handful of "newly discovered" Indian votes, from, I believe, the same reservation that produced last minute votes for Johnson to defeat Thune in 2000, went on to take the seat that many Dakotans still think he stole.

Daschle, like Gephardt, Kennedy, Kerry, has never worked at a regular job in the private sector, even part-time, nor has he had to meet a payroll in a private sector business that workers depend on for jobs.

Is it any wonder Gephardt can talk about "winning life's lottery" with a straight face.

"Gorelick also worked at DOD, on something called the Threat Reduction Advisory Committee. Does that sound like someone who was out of the loop, unimportant, just a figurehead...Wonder what she did at DOD?"

The TRAC advises and assists the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics) on reduction of the threat to the United States and its allies from nuclear, biological, chemical (NBC), conventional and special weapons, sustainment of the the nuclear weapons deterrent, chemical and biological defense, counterproliferation, technology security, weapons effects and other matters related to the DTRA mission. I don't know for sure, but maybe Tenet was told to not say anything about Gorelick so that Ashcroft could surprise the committee and the American people.

I, um, think the folks at Gorelick's law firm could profit from seeing the articles in this link.

P.S. Good job!

Unbelievable!

Folks, my "alarm bells" are all going at full blast right now. There are WAY to many coincidences popping up here.

I was reading another thread this morning and found out that Gorelick had made a phone call to Oklahoma City during the "investigation". We've also found out that she was involved in the TWA800 "investigation".

The Murrah Building was blown up on April 19, 1995. Does anyone know the EXACT date that the "Wall" memo was written?

I'm beginning to get a feeling that Gorelick was the Clinton's person "inside" the Justice Department, who would insure that no "investigation" would embarrass them.

IMO, Gorelick needs to be the subject of a FULL-BORE FreeRepublic investigation.

Since the word has now leaked out that the CIA in fact warned of a terrorist attack on landmarks in New York and Washington in 1995, the blame can be put squarely on Ms. Gore Lick, Bill Clinton, Janet Reno, et al.

The entire Clinton staff should be behind bars.
