Jamie Gorelick's wall

The disclosure that Jamie Gorelick, a member of the September 11 commission, was personally responsible for instituting a key obstacle to cooperation between law enforcement and intelligence operations before the terrorist attacks raises disturbing questions about the integrity of the commission itself. Ms. Gorelick should not be cross-examining witnesses; instead, she should be required to testify about her own behavior under oath. Specifically, commission members need to ask her about a 1995 directive she wrote that made it more difficult for the FBI to locate two of the September 11 hijackers who had already entered the country by the summer of 2001.

The 911 Commission like Richard Clarke is now dead on arrival! Their fifteen minutes of fame never was!

Washington Times, NY Post, Wall Street J, Fox News: the avalanche is growing!

By the way I read on another thread that Mary Jo White, the New York-based U.S. attorney, was in charge of the investigation regarding Clinton's election funding - especially contributions from foreigners. That is one reason why this would be such a "very hot" topic.

If Ms. Gorelick fails to provide this, her actions would bring into serious doubt the credibility of the commission.

Too late.....

Mary Jo White also investigated the Marc Rich "Pardongate" scandal back in 2001.

If I'm not mistaken, Gorelick had some kind of link with Marc Rich.

Clinton-appointed board members at Fannie Mae include Marc Rich lawyer Jack Quinn and Janet Reno's lieutenant at the Justice Department, Jamie Gorelick. At the helm of Fannie Mae is Franklin Raines, who served as director of the Office of Management and Budget under former President Clinton. Raines just happens to be a buddy of Bush Treasury Secretary O'Neill. "I consider Frank Raines to be a close personal friend of mine," O'Neill said glowingly in the Bloomberg interview.

I don't know if the link has any relevance to the 911 investigation or not, but this is the Clinton Administration so you just never know.

Maybe we should send Jaimie some Lego blockes so she can have a little reminder of her legacy and the blood on her and the Slickmeister's hands!

Oh ho, verrrry interesting.

Remember both Kissinger and Mitchell resigned from the Commission because they appreciated that they would have to disengage from their business relations to be able to be seen not be under undue influence.

At least Kissinger got lots of flack from FReepers because he admitted that he had such business relations.

To me it seems they behaved very properly, and it is a shame that instead the Commission was filled with political hacks like Ms Gorelick , Ben-veniste, and Kean.

If you want to make a difference, sign the petition at the IWF (Independent Women's Forum). Here's the URL:

It may or may not have any impact but at least you have the opportunity to voice your opinion and have it heard.
