'Apprentice' loser Kwame Jackson debates job offer from 'Benefactor' Mark Cuban
Reality TV World ^ | April 17, 2004 | Wade Paulsen

According to Extra!, Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team, made a "huge job offer" to Kwame after Bill Rancic was hired by Trump instead of Kwame. Kwame told Extra! that Cuban had waited for hours at The Apprentice after-show cast party before finally cornering Kwame so that he could make the offer.

Cuban is an honest American success story. Born middle-class in Pittsburgh, Cuban went to Indiana University, where he honed his sales skills. After graduation, he started a computer consulting company -- although he knew nothing about computers. However, by a combination of his own drive, a little blarney and some good employees, Cuban eventually built the company, MicroSolutions, Inc., into a powerhouse that he sold to CompuServe for millions in 1990, seven years after its founding.

Prior to the job offer from Cuban, Fox News reported that Kwame had been offered the chance to return to his old firm, the NYC investment bank Goldman Sachs, at a substantial salary. However, Kwame turned the offer down and instead had planned to start a business with some friends of his focused on raising capital for black-run firms that focused on the upscale market.

When you are rich, you are not a "kook", you are merely "eccentric". ;) LOL

Well, not many kooks can plop 250k on a table and ask nothing more than to be considered for a corporate leadership position.

Sam's certainly got that over a good many of us.

I found an article written by Omarosa.

http://www.hillnews.com/living/032304_omarosa.aspx

"The show has changed my life. I’ve got a book deal, a TV deal. I have a role in a sitcom. "

I was just reading more of the article written by Omarosa:

"I do have my eyes set on running for Congress and eventually the White House. I sat in the White House and watched leaders make decisions. I’m thinking, if they can do it, so can I."

http://www.hillnews.com/living/032304_omarosa.aspx

I don't think I even need to comment on this!!!

We must never ever see a Democrat get into power, if only to keep her out.

Well if Maxine Waters, Shiela Jackson Lee and Queasy N'Fume (or whatever) can make it, she's a shoe-in. She's got that democrat lying thing down.

In time of war, she could just tell military leaders she's too busy to talk, and will call them back... whenever.

What a piece of work this person is.

Yeah, she worked in Gore's office. Lots of photo-op shots like that on her website.

Which explains why she's incompetant and given to fits of emotionalism. IMO, she cost Kwame the job through her bad attitude.

The only thing I think should have been different was to have Kwame and Bill swap assignments and teams to see what happens differently. Maybe Bill doesn't do so well with tempermental pop stars and maybe Kwame does better in a country club setting. But we'll never know.

And am I the only one who thinks part of the flub-ups were staged? I mean, they had to have some drama so why not throw out the VIP's sign and make Jessica take the wrong flight just to see what the candidates would do?

I think the flubs were staged. BTW, I think Kwame would have done much better in the country club setting. I'm convinced Trump figured that.

There were three or four pictures of her on the website: with Gore, with Tipper and Gore, and with the Toon himself.

"Hmmmm....forward it to the NBC folks. And some have the nerve to accuse FR of copyright nasties!"

There is a right way and a wrong way to do this.

If you write to NBC and ask why they are sponsoring this site, it will cause a stir at NBC. If you ask them to write to the obviously parodying site to stop - no go.

"Fair Use" is about perception.

If they get the idea that a significant number of people believe this is an NBC sponsored hatchet job on Bush, they will do something.

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like an advertisement for the Apprentice and not True Majority, or as I like to call them "Americanski Bolshevik".
