North Vancouver School Board chair Ginny Diebolt says the principal acted because the play featured inappropriate language and sexually explicit scenes.

Why isn't a teacher out looking for a new job? Teachers are the one's who are supposed to screen the bazillions of plays for the material appropriateness. If the teacher considers this appropriate material for students; I think the teacher needs to consider a different form of livelihood.

The people who have the issue with it are fighting an already lost battle because being gay is OK. And it's shown publicly that it's OK, and you can't stop it

Yeah, that's why it was "censored". In Canada, no less. Save it for the off campus productions.

Let those up North reap what they have sown. The decent ones will be fleeing south...so long as we can maintain a viable alternative to the morally-imploding society they already enjoy!

"High school plays must have a broad appeal to a broad range in the community."

What????

High schoolers are students, not artists creating works of art for profit.

More evidence of the results of the culture war.

I can't even find a write up on what this play is. All I find are the articles about the scandal about this one occurence of the play. Did the teacher write it himself?

The School Board is no doubt relieved that the play contained no mention of "God" or "prayer" or the "Ten Commandments". Otherwise, there'd really be Hell to pay.

Whatever happened to plays like "Our Town" and "Hello Dolly"? Of course the students wanted the kiss, anything to shock their parents and teen boys will never pass up any fantasy about two girls. Interesting the prinicpal ok'd the kiss and theme until parents raised a fuss. Parents should have that teacher's job and pull their little drama queens out of class for a reality check.

There's that "homophobic" word again. It is an attack word used against those who see the wrong in a lifestyle being promoted by the homosexuals. Homosexuals have no arguments to back up their agenda except for "it's our right". Well, it's my right not to have it promoted as an acceptable lifestyle. Therefore, the people promoting a homosexual lifestyle must be heteralphobic.

The parents are shocked? Didn't they know what their children were being indoctrinated to think for quite some time? If not, they have not been paying attention.

Acceptance of queers choice of pervert lifestyle doesn't stop at high school. Below is an excerpt from an article posted last week on FR where the perverts and their supporters are accessing our pre-school children. Sickos!

Redmond, Washington, Apr. 13 (LifesiteNews.com/CWN) - A Redmond, Washington, organization of day care professionals has begun to advocate the normalization of the homosexual lifestyle to pre-school children in day care. The Childcare Exchange has two articles on its website exploring the possible methods to teach very small children to accept and practice homosexual behavior and cross-dressing.
