My email to Jim King today.

JIMMIE AND MELINDA SHOULD DIE OF STARVATION AND DEHYDRATION because they cannot BARK FOR THEMSELVES. You like dogs more than people.

You better start praying the Lord's Prayer. You need it for making all those deals with the DEVIL.

YOU SHOULD RESIGN AS SENATE PRESIDENT. What a joke you have become. Your legacy is that you are a JOKE.

(time has passed to play nice.)

"They are God's beings and don't need to be mistreated". "The more I'm around people, the more I realize how important dogs are," King said.

SEN. PRESIDENT DID NOT ALLOW SENATE BILL 692 to the floor which would protect Terri and other disabled Floridians. Why? Because, the more he's around people, the more he realizes how important dogs are.

This is the leader of Florida's Senate. What a JOKE.

Post 205 takes you to a Petition to President Bush. You can sign your name, address and add comment to President Bush on behalf of Terri's plight. Is that what you were linking to, Juan?

Law Helping Terri Schiavo Could be Overturned Thanks to Court Decision

http://www.lifenews.com/bio272.html

A Florida appeals court decision could pave the way to declaring Terri's Law unconstitutional

James E. "Jim" King, Jr. Senate President Florida Senate District 8.. YOU of all people should be on Terri's side and fight for her life if you really love animals as you say you do. Have you read the stories as told by her parents of Terri's devotion to family pets and to animals of every sort?...huh, have you??? Two things I detest and YOU James E. "Jim" King, Jr. Senate President Florida Senate District 8 are both.

Senate bill would make animal cruelty a felony

"They are God's beings and don't need to be mistreated," (King) said. "I have no problem with rodeos, I'm talking about people who cow tip, light fire to cats and put bunnies in microwaves."

Mr. King, I couldn't agree with you more. Anyone who would do something as barbaric as your quote eludes to is, clearly, not well and not a law-abiding person of sensitivity. We humans have no right to inflict cruelty upon another living being simply because the physical cards are stacked in our favor, right?

Unless, of course, that means starving someone to death.

Mr. King, please tell me exactly what would happen to me if I starved and dehydrated my dog to death. Would I be arrested? Would I have my head examined? Good, because that's as it should be. But what if I did the same thing to my mother, claiming she wouldn't want 'artificial assistance' and 'told me that' some years ago? Wouldn't the state be prudent to require some substantiation of such a claim before I did to my mother what you will not tolerate me doing to my dog?

To quote you again, "The more I'm around people, the more I realize how important dogs are". I couldn't agree with you more on this item, either, Mr. King. For my dog has no intention of doing anything to harm me for money, fame or a 'professional legacy' whose time is long over.

I have said it before and I shall say it again. Mr. King: You are a disgrace to the people who pay your salary.

"TERRI IS GOD'S BEING TOO, JIM KING."

Jim King says dogs, like all creatures, are God's beings and shouldn't be mistreated. That's true, but dogs aren't created in God's image, like people are. Even Terri Schiavo. Even Jim King, should he wake up and remember the responsibility being created in that image brings.

That was a paraphrase of what I'm about to tell King.

"Take a look at the inmates on death row, King suggested, and you'll find almost all of them have animal cruelty in their backgrounds."

And where do we find those with human cruelty in their backgrounds? Courtrooms and legislatures, it appears.

Doesn't this beat all? I think he's totally lost it. I'd like to see his Oath of Office for the Florida Senate. He's not upholding the U.S. or the Florida Constitution. He's just upholding his drawers.

I HOPE that citizens in his district who may not even be aware of KING'S REMARKS ON ANIMAL CRUELTY and about the more he knows people the more important he thinks dogs are. What does that say about his role as a representative of the people? He chooses animals over people. Finally, as soon as SB 692 was buried never to see the light of day, they hold a session on a Saturday to protect animals? COINCIDENCE? There are no coincidences with this motley crue.

Who the heck holds a hearing for animals and holds a presser and mentions their pets??? Straight from a barnyard near you, SEN. PRESIDENT JIM KING. JIM KING SHOULD BE OUSTED! The he can spend QUALITY TIME with Jiminy and Melinda instead of working on HIS LEGACY OF HUMAN CRUELTY & DEATH.
