A question of patriotism

According to the funhouse logic of the Kerry campaign, I have no choice but to question Kerry's patriotism.

As Mort Kondracke of Roll Call has been dutifully chronicling, ever since Kerry became the unofficial nominee, Kerry has claimed that criticism of his record equals criticism of his patriotism.

In February, when Ed Gillespie, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, listed the number of defense programs Kerry opposed - the MX missile, the B-1 bomber, the Tomahawk missile, the Apache helicopter, the Patriot missile, the Harrier jet and the F-15 fighter aircraft -Kerry's campaign manager immediately replied, "Today, RNC chair Ed Gillespie made another desperate attack on the patriotism of John Kerry."

And just this week Kerry denounced what he calls the administration's "twisted sense of morality and ethics" for questioning his patriotism.

Ok, then I guess I am in. Count me as one questioning Kerry's "Patriotism" also

I believe I was the first to officially call Kerry unpatriotic after his latest lament about being called unpatriotic...er ,at the least the first on that thread...;)

The people Jonah quotes are truly not patriots, but Moore's latest pronouncements calling the Iraqis killing our soldiers"Minute Men" fighting for their country and that they will win is treasonous.

Dittos here.

Three Purple Hearts in nearly as many months, and then (ab)using policies to be sent home.

Doesn't sound like he really wanted to be there in the first place.

Query: How many Vietnam soldiers were making home movies of their service?

The left is psychotic. To them questioning irrespective of the fall out of their questioning policies of the Bush Administration is patriotism.

If Kennedy's rhetoric emboldens insurgents and gets more soldiers killed, just fine. Kennedy never has to suffer the consequences of his words.

That is the problem with all of them. They never have to suffer the consequences of their socialist slop. America suffers.

8 Years of lip service paid by the Clinton administration to "The war on Terror" got 4-5000 Americans killed.
Add the Tallies of World trade 93, Oklahoma, Kenya, Somalia, the Cole, 9/11, Afganistan, Iraq.

Pascifism is one of the most lethal forces in the world. It is an invitation to attack.

The pascifists of the world look to Ghandi as their model for nonviolent activism. The one thing that they overlook is the British were too decent to fire on unarmed people.
The islamofascists would slaughter them all, defile the corpses and dance in the streets afterwards.

Non violent protest only works when you are opposed to a group with more decency than your cause has.
