I called my Doc today - former AF physician, and asked him to help me get my hands on some hospital gowns to send.

His final words were "I'm on it" and asked for your address.

If a package arrives from an Anthony Fasano, DO with a Fairfax, VA address, that's my Doc.

OTOH, I may get a call to go in and pick them up. I have no idea what he's thinking or how this is going to work out.

Thanks so much for allowing us to help with this project. It makes me feel like I'm actually doing something to help our wounded over there.

The USN is near and dear to my heart - worked on the OSIS/OBU/GCCS-M from the time the system architect's/system developers created it and started installing it. I still miss my 1630's/1640's, even if they did beep me in when it was a hardware problem! Sniff.

I apologize for (maybe) overusing the ping list, but someone brought a site to my attention tonight and I think it's SO abominable that everyone here needs to be aware. Adopt a Soldier - Stop the War

The gist of it is to sign up with an organization called "Soldiers Angels", get an email or address from them, make friends with a soldier, and then express your utter contempt for the war and them and what they as soldiers are doing.

I am NOT saying that the owners of this site are condoning it, but it has been up since yesterday.

I'm so mad right now I can hardly see straight. How DARE someone do this to our military. PLEASE, everyone who has received an email from me, be VERY CAREFUL...that address is confidential. As you can see, in the wrong hands, damage to our troops can be done.

Hmmmmm, I'm not having any luck with the link. Maybe they're getting bombarded by others reporting the site.
I'll keep trying til I get through. I'm just sick to death at the moment. Those people (if they can be called that) are sick, evil. There aren't words to describe them.

My hubby was here when I pulled up the site and he's so PO'd, he's outside stomping around the farm to blow off steam. I hurt too bad to join him so I'm just sitting here screaming.

The link took a while to come up, maybe they are flooded with complaints (I hope). How do they get away with these kinds of postings? Indymedia is the same one who were calling Pat Tillman a "dumbjock" and "babykiller" You can access it from the FBI's home page, on the left side "submit a tip"
