"So these idiots are supporting her "advocacy" of fighting terrorism with "harsher sentences"."

. . .it is beyond hopeless. Bush knew it would be a 'gotcha'; and the Dems crow how he did not want this; well NO ONE worth salt would want this; and in that regard; probably good this has imploded.

In the meantime, how is it; that Hillary's personal 'terrorists-for-votes' prisoner release program gets not even a blink/wink/nada when these media mouths cluck their tongues on how Clinton, Inc. dealt with terrorism.

No; not specifically i.d. as AlQueda, but we know a terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist. And so do they.

Wonder what Jamie thought about that. . .

I don't care if Gorelick testifies. I just want it over.

At this sorry point, it wouldn't matter if Gorelick did testify. Can you imagine the platitudes and softballs that her fellow commissioners would toss her way? It would be such a pathetic show of whitewashing and lame excuse-making that it would have me heaving within minutes.

"First I would like to say, Ms. Gorelick, that it has been an absolute pleasure working with you these many months. Your tireless work, your dedication, your enthusiasm, and your invaluable contributions to the efforts of this commission blah blah blah friggin' blah...."

The credibility of the commissiion is hopelessly shot. I would prefer the stinking commission simply wrap it up and go home. Whatever report they finally release won't be worth the paper it's written on.

What's that smell?

The Senators are applauding someone who participated in the failure to protect our country, and praising her while she participates in covering up her role, and while she unfairly tries to blame others for her stupidity.

Bump that! Well said.

You mean like........."I did not have *** relations with that woman." That kind of "under oath?" : )

I think you have to put democrats under a different kind of oath. I call it the "your testifying today but were calling your ass back in next week so you better be telling the truth oath".

Kean, a Republican, has rejected calls for Gorelick to step aside. He said she is one of the hardest working panel members...

Hard working?

I can see why. Covering up for herself and her Billyboy hero must be very hard work.

Kean asked her if she would consider resigning. How stupid is that ..?? Of course she's going to say no. She's been promised the AG spot if she manages to smear Bush.

I believe ALL "public" testimony is under oath. Only the private conversations - like those with the President/VP are off the record.

This commission was never intended to be non-partisan; ever.

This commission was intended to be a "we got Bush" - prelude to "we have to impeach Bush".

It has backfired - bigtime, because the dims still fail to recognize 9/11 changed everything - everything except them.

"going after Gorelick was going to "backfire" on the GOP"

This is "projection technique" for the real problem - this HAS ALREADY BACKFIRED BIG TIME ON THE DIMS!!

Don't feel that way - remember - your letter represents THOUSANDS of people; that's how demographics work.

"pathetic show of whitewashing and lame excuse-making"

While I agree with your assumptions, please remember she would be "under oath" - just like Clarke was - and he's now totally discredited.

Of course she's one of the hardest working members of the commission--it's a tough job burying all those Clinton admin skeletons.

LOL

It is our firm belief that any committee report or recommendations will be incomplete without public testimony by Ms. Gorelick...

Jamie Gorelick = the missing link
