In an interview published Friday in the LOS ANGELES TIMES, Dem presidential hopeful John Kerry claimed he "never ever implied" that he threw his own medals on the Hill in 1971 to appear as an antiwar hero -- but a new shock video shows John Kerry's saying he did!
ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA is set to rock the political world Monday morning with an airing of Kerry's 1971 boast, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

If Kerry continues to lose ground, will he be dumped at the convention?
Do the Dems have more dirt to throw at President Bush?
Perhaps they can charge the Pres. with secretly conspiring to publicly humiliate the UN Oil for Food principals.

Flipper at it again. So many layers of duplicity, and no matter whose medals he tossed, it was an unpatriotic act if you ask me.

This is very good, especially if Good Morning America is really going to go with it.
Remember, I'd bet that a large majority of the American people are not at all familiar with his post-war "activities" (whereas, virtually are familiar with his Vietnam service).
The more I see, the more I realize the absolute brilliance of the effort to imprint in the mind of the public that Kerry "flip-flops".
To: Unam Sanctam
So whose medals does he own now? OTOH maybe someone on the other side of the fence threw them back or caught them....This guy is such a loser.

1. he threw his own medals away.
2. years later, admits they were somone elses medals
3. Years after that, he says he never inmplied he threw his own medals away.
4. Days after tha,t video is found showing him saying he threw his own medals away.
So let's see if I got this right.
He lied about a lie he lied about, a lie he lied about ?

The noteworthy thing here is that, according to DRUDGE, this is an ABC story. A crack in the dyke, so to speak (with apologies to the junior Senator from NY).
Outside of that, do you really think this story will make much of a dent in this guy?

This is the last we will hear of this...I can't see Peter, Dan, Tom, or the irrelevant Cunning News Network reporting this.
The only thing Kerry's got going for him at this point is his color schemes...especially his biking wardrobe... /sarcasm

Just wait until it is figured out that Kerry probably claimed his medals were 'lost or misplaced' and reapplied for them AGAIN, which would explain why Sec Lehman's signature is on his approval documents, some 10-15 years later?

Kerry could stand up in front of a microphone at a campaign ralley and say F**K The United States!, and he'd still get 35-40% of the vote in November.

Possible Kerry responses:
- "I actually said I threw away my medals before I said I didn't"
- "Those were my families medals"
- "???"

If someone at ABC leaked this to Drudge, it could mean that ABC was about to kill the story. Just like what happened with Lewinsky, Drudge got the story before the Liberal Media could make it disappear.

He has "his medals" prominently displayed in his office. His claim is that he threw his ribbons and someone else's medals who could not attend. His VVAW friends were not happy to hear he "appeared" to throw his medals, but did not.

From JohnKerry.Com:
FACT: John Kerry is proud of the work he did to end the Vietnam war. The Nixon Administration made John Kerry one of its targets and Kerry's rightwing opponents have been smearing him ever since. John Kerry threw his ribbons and the medals of two veterans who could not attend the event, and said I am not doing this for any violent reasons, but for peace and justice, and to try to make this country wake up once and for all. [Tour of Duty, Douglas Brinkley]
Damn, he can't even help but parse his words on his own web site.
