At $2.17 per gallon, San Diego saw the highest average price for self-serve regular unleaded gas. Every f-ing place I move to ends up exceeding the "highest average" price they list. On Jamboree through Irvine/Tustin I saw $2.19 for the cheap stuff just about an hour ago.

$1.83? sheesh... i haven't seen gas prices that low for months... we were ecstatic to find gas for $1.99 per gallon yesterday... it was under the $2.00 mark!! (central valley, california... tracy, stockton, modesto, and also the south bay--san jose area which tends to be a little higher than the central valley)...
