The Muslims at this rally are not just good people and good Americans, but are brave men and women as well. Many, if not most of them, know first hand about what life under a repressive theocracy is like, and do not-will not -take their freedoms as Americans for granted. We should all applaud them, and hopefully, this will at least temper some of the more outrageous anti-Muslim commentators on FR.

Please save your pious lip service for some other occasion. Muslims worldwide have failed utterly to call for a halt to the terrorist activities of the extremists. By their silence they condone it. One rally in the US isn't a start, it's a mere drop in the bucket and 3 years too late. It does serve to highlight the abysmal failure of Muslims everywhere in putting a stop to it.

I will admit: I'm wary of Muslims these days.

I've known several, though, and I had a Jordanian roommate in college.

There are a lot of Muslims in this country who are second-third generation American citizens. They pay taxes, they hold jobs and they vote. Some of their sons are in our military.

Apparently some people feel that the thing to do is to round these citizens up and put them into internment camps. Or perhaps just deport them, despite the fact that they are citizens.

The practice of lying in the Shi'ite faith
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, what I am going to tell you is somthing that all of us muslims should know about the Shi'ites, this fandamental thing will show us why the Shi'ites can't be trusted, and why the Shi'ites are such of an enemy to Islam, this article of the Shi'ite faith called Taqayyah (concealment, deception or lying) lets the Shi'ites betray us and lie about Hadeeth and the Quran, this is also why a Shi'ite can never be used as a witness, or why he can not narrate Hadeeth, I myself have when talking to Shi'ites have found out that they always lie about Hadeeth for example on of them told me that there was a Hadeeth in Bukhari cursing all of the sahabah, so I asked him for the proof and he said that he had it, so he gave me a page full of references, all which were irrelevant and have nothing to do with this hadeeth. Another Shi'ite once added on a verse to the quran and tried to tell me that this was the quran when I asked for references again he just refused to tell me, since then that Shi'ite has not been around since.

I also warn all you muslims against the "Muslim" chat rooms, as there are many Shi'ites in them, I have found way over 10 who were on at one time you see they pretend to be Sunni Muslims but they try to infiltrate us by quoting their false Hadeeth and try to mislead us, as they trully despise us Muslims. So dear brothers below is evidence that Shi'ites are allowed to lie and not only that, but encouraged to lie to us Muslims.

Please note that the Shi'ites attribute the following to Abu Abdullah (Ja'far as-Sadiq):

"Mix with them(i.e. non-shia) externally but oppose them internally." (Al-Kafi vol.9 p.116) now this Shi'ite hadeeth means that they should mix with us and try to decieve us..It trully shows us Muslims what the Shi'ites are!

"He who conceals his religion has saved it, and he who makes it public has destroyed it." now this contradicts the Quran as will be shown below.

"A believer who does not dissimulate is like a body without a head." (Tafseer al-Askari) It is also interesting that the Shi'ites article of Faith "Taqayyah" is just like what the Talmudites (jews who follow the Talmud) say about the Goyyims (non-jews,) as all Talmudites say that they should lie to us non-jews..You see this explains a lot about the Shi'ites and their Similarities with the Jews as the Shi'ite sect was started by Abdullah bin Saba'. (a Jew who started the shi'ite religion, just with the intent of trying to destroy the Muslims..this in explained in the article "Who founded the Shi'ite Religion")

"Nine tenths of religion is taqiyyah (dissimulation), hence one who does not dissimulate has no religion." (Al-Kafi vol.9 p.110) This shows us that Shi'ites have to lie to us as if they don't then they will not be called Muslims by other Shi'ites....it shows us how sick is the Shi'ite faith.

Concerning the verse, "Verily the most noble of you in Allah's sight is the most God-fearing (atqaakum)" , the Shia attribute the following interpretation of "atqaakum": "That is, your deeds done by taqiyyah (dissimulation) (Al-I'tiqadat)

So as you can see, the Shi'ites beleive that they should decieve us with their lies, as the Shi'ites hate us, sunni muslims, by calling us worse than dogs....("Although Allah, the Exalted, has not created a creature worse than a dog, yet a Nasbi (ie. A Sunni) is worse than even a dog." here is the Shi'te book that this lie came from (Haqqul Yakeen (Persian) Vol 2, P. 516)

So my dear Muslims now you know just a small part of what the Shi'ites say in their books which insult the meaning of Islam with their superstisious ideas and horrible lies against the Sahabah. (the prophets Companions)

Now I will finish of with this magnicificant ayah from the Quran which shows us that Taqayyah (deception, lying etc) is forbidden in Islam.. and the Shi'ites practice this Taqqayah on us Muslims!!! so dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Allah states in the Noble Quran: "Surely those who hide from people the clear proofs and guidance, which we clarified in the Book (Qur'an), will be cursed by Allah and all those who curse." (2:159)

And the statement of the Prophet (s.a.w) who said: "Whoever is asked for knowledge and conceals it will have a bridle of fire around his neck on the Day of Judgement." (Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)

So dear Brothers and Sisters, now Inshallah we can see beyond the Curtain concealing the Shi'ites true beleifs and not just the ones that he wishes to show us.... Inshallah Allah will guide us to the truth and may we all see the Shi'ites for what they are..... Ameen.

In real numbers? I would say your right. But then again it was the 11th thru 14th centuries we are talking about and Christians started the example with the slaughter at Jeruselem in the First Crusade in 1099 with the slaughter of both the Moslem and Jewish population of Jerusalem. And yet it wasn't until 1282 that The Mamluk Caliphate did the same to the Christian population of Tripoli.

What do some Jewish texts say about Jesus and Christians? Don't get me wrong. I am a Christian and believe Islam is false to the core (and that the Crusades had legitimate reasons!). But I believe Islam as a civilization had some good points (free trade for one) and a high culture. The West was influenced deeply by Islamic culture even if we denounced it.

Islam is just as false as Juadism or Mormonism in my book. But I think you can be a decent person and not be a Roman Catholic:)

Gosh are you off on your dates. You must be reading the Al Jazeera propaganda.
Mohameddans started the slaughtering and the forced conversions 300 years before any crusades. North Africa and the Middle east were mostly Christian (albeit with lots of infighting)but the Mohmaneddan arab invaders came through and in a series of battles mostly with fought with Byzantines defeated and took over the lands and people.

I heard a couple of people from this rally on the radio on the way home tonight. They explained why it is so hard to get this to happen. Most Muslims still have family in other countries and they are afraid that anything they do here will be taken out on their families.

We can poo-poo it all we want, but their fear is very real.

The "bomb mecca" or "massive internment" crowd are good at venting, but they don't offer anything useful to a man or woman trying to make a decision about how to proceed. There are billions of Muslims in the world, and no solution that revolves around killing or imprisoning a large number of them is going to do anything but fail. Even if it did succeed, you would see the end of the United States as a moral, Christian country.

In my opinion, the trick to defeating the Jihad is two-fold. First, you (both personally and nationally)have to utterly defeat your fear of Islam as a threat. It might *BE* a threat, but we have to face it in profoundly resolute and realistic fashion. The Jihadis thrive on fear, humilation, and desperation. It's their fuel. When nations and peoples confront them, and reject them they can only collapse. They need the momentum of victory after victory to not stall and collapse. It's been like that since Charles Martel defeated the Jihad in 732 AD. It's simply a fact of being alive on the planet Earth. They hate it, but the truth is *we* decide when the jihad ends, not them.

The second is to understand the nature of Islam, and to make decisions about what kind of relationship you want with it. It's a globalizing world, and there will be some kind of relationship with Islam. Thankfully, if you crack a book on the subject, you discover that there are dozens of kinds of muslims, and they all have different levels of interest in a peaceful, secular kind of life and relationships to one another that can be understood.

A smart policy would be to ruthlessly pursue and examine people that are historically and culturally backward, and encourage and promote people that are up to date and reasonable. Treating Shia Ismaili's like Wahabi Sunnis is the ticket to nothing but ceaseless, and ultimately pointless war. There are hundreds of millions of Muslims that are a credit to the human race. But even if you don't want a positive relationship with Islam at all, they are so fragmented as a that a cruel American foriegn policy could pit one group against the other from now until the sun goes out. They aren't anything like a unified group.

In my opinion, people like those in this article should be carefully examined, and then treated like the CIA treated the solidarity movement in Poland. If a Mosque run by some reasonable Shia's comes up, it should recieve special and subtle help with their zoning and permits. Manna from heaven! Maybe they need a spirtual leader from Turkey or Iran brought in, well maybe his visa should go right ahead. Some perimeter nut from Saudi or the rest of the open-air mental institution that is the modern Arabia? Well, that should run in an perfectly inverse manner, with much less cooperatation and more scrutiny.

If we are sharp,educated and resolute there will be both a victory against Jihad, and the creation of modern, western Islam that we can live with. In some senses, it already exists. I could fill your street or apartment building with Turks or Iranians, and I'm willing to bet you would thank me for doing it. The trick is to understand them, and make decisions about them. The Europeans chose not to, and are living with the consquences of not knowing Muslim "A" from Muslim "B". Americans still have a little time.

NOt aware of that. The Crusaders took city after city on their treck from their rallying point in Constantiniple to the Holy Land that was Christian but yet under Islamic hegemoney. Nicea, Antioch, The kingdom of Edessa, and many more. They were "Eastern Othrodox" Christians and a bit strange to the Latin Franks, Normans, and Germans who assembled for the first crusade. But nevertheless still Christians. And Jerusalem had an extremely diverse population of Jews, Moslems, and Christians when the Crusaders sacked it in 1099 and murdered most of its population.

If you are not aware of the timeline of Muslim invasion and genocide you should become aware.

The Muslims were invading, pillaging and killing for hundreds of years before the West took notice and started the crusades.

The Byzantines bore the full force of these battles and held off the conquest of Eastern Europe for several hundreds of years more probably allowing the West to recover from the dissolution of the western Roman Empire caused by the invasions from the North and East and saving Europe from Mohmammedans in the process.

In the meantime the Muslims spread over North Africa and invaded Spain.

Yes- Islam was an invading force that needed to be checked. The Crusades were justified in my opinion even if I recoil and am ashamed at some of the crusaders deeds during the course of these defensive wars.
