The problem with Kerry is he's an elitist and cannot connect with the American public. When you fly in your hair dresser for a $1,000 hair cut; a large majority of the American people cannot fathom spending such a ridiculous amount for "appearance's" sake. Another problem of Kerry is he projects an attitude of "entitlement" which carries across the screen. No doubt this projection that Kerry radiates is one of arrogance, snobbery and disdain for the people living in "fly over" country. Kerry is toast.

He has spent the better part of the last 33 years lying and playing both sides so that one day he could become president.

That's exactly the problem.

Kerry's "wooden-ness" comes from trying not to trip up and contradict some lie he told in the past. [Note the GMA segment on medals vs. ribbons].

For some reason, Clinton could carry it off. Kerry doesn't come close.

They (liberals) like to think that all vietnam vets have skeletons in their closets - 'atrocities' as they like to call them. Well guess what - they don't. The sad fact is that this loser learned all his vietnam history from 'Platoon' and 'Casulties of War'

From a liberal

is the worst slight anyone could make.

Kerry is doing so bad because he knows he is not suppose to run.

Personally, I find little comfort in how JFnK is performing - for exactly the idea you posit.

I'm holding my breath all the way till that Tuesday nite in November...

Kerry always looks constipated to me on tv. It looks like he's got somewhere else to go that's really, really important, but he will still force himself to sit there and answer these silly questions despite the fact that everyone should just KNOW the answers.

Kerry projects an attitude of "entitlement"... Kerry (radiates) arrogance, snobbery and disdain for the people living in "fly over" country....

It's inbred in him, something he can't control.

Yeah, I saw some of it, but couldn't stomach all the backside-licking that Chrissy was doing.

Watching Mr. Kerry on TV, he said, "I don’t know if it’s a stream of consciousness or stream of unconsciousness."

The guy is a space case. A strong and capable space case but a space case none the less.

That's the second time I've seen this. What is "the trangulation gimmickry (the protractor factor)"?

Compared to President George W. Bush, he added, Mr. Kerry appeared more intelligent, "but there are many instances in which George Bush communicates more clearly."

Really. These libs sure are suckers for a haughty tone.

What on God's green earth points to Kerry being more intelligent than me, let alone George W. Bush?

The word they seek is "crafty":

crafty: adj : marked by skill in deception; "cunning men often pass for wise"; "deep political machinations"; "a foxy scheme"; "a slick evasive answer"; "sly as a fox"; "tricky Dick"; "a wily old attorney" [syn: cunning, dodgy, foxy, guileful, knavish, slick, sly, tricksy, tricky, wily]
