I agree that it is not funny. I was disappointed that Rush seemed woefully uninformed about autism and Asperger's syndrome.

Rush tends to talk about quite a few things that he is woefully uninformed about. ADD, CFS, RLS, Aspergers. Anyone care to add to the list?

My son has Grand Mal Epilepsy, ADD, Delayed Bone Growth Disorder, RLS and severe Social Phobia. Now, how do you imagine the Social Phobia came about? Certainly not by being treated kindly by well meaning people. He had teachers who made fun of him, fellow students who were cruel. People at church, even, who were unkind.

And Rush is so wrong when he says ADD is an excuse for bad behavior. My son was always the most well behaved kid in class. He just couldn't concentrate. ADD does not necessarily equal bad behavior.

Rush should stick to what he understands. Politics and sports. He just doesn't GET the rest of it.

I think we have to take all radio hosts with a grain of salt. The best and most conservative of them have offended me. The alternative is Delilah, who is the radio equivalent of a soothing stay in a Neolodge, so I guess we have to muddle through the best we can.

Then again, I think I woke up an hour too late to listen to Delilah, oh woe!

(Love songs, sappy dedications, a syrupy sweet voice all night long...)
