FR has had a number of FRAUDS and LIARS over the years.On claimed to be an active duty,serving overseas,one was a woman who literally STOLE other people's bios and pictures and used FR to lure men to her soft porn site,to sell pictures,several have been men,pretending to be women,and on and on.Yes,people got burned,but FR is still here and just keeps on growing.

A temperature of 102,while somewhat serious,is NOT catastrophic at all.You're right about that and his hysterics,should have set off alarm bells.

I missed the thread about his granny and the ones about the supposed relative in Iraq.

I think that he has been tracked through his ISP as well as through his sites,which he has now deleted from the web.

Yes,this does sound something akin to Munchhausen By Proxy Syndrome.Personally,I just don't get that,but some people really are mentally ill!

What I don't get at all, is how meticulous he was at gaining trust from Freepers. Do a Poster search on him and the threads he has contributed to and his posts do not even remotely suggest this fraud was being perpetrated on us. I guess after looking at his posts etc, I have to wonder if he really is a fraud. or there is something more sinister going on here... like an ID theft, hack attack, or something along those lines. It does not add up at all. I guess if a parent has their first kid and they have a fever, some could easily freak out. I am an experienced parent and know a little ibuprofen or acetominophen knocks it right down in half an hour. But the very first time my daughter got a fever, I did phone the family doc. I didn't though jump on FR and ask for prayers...

So, you have to wonder about this. This guy went through months and months to get in our good graces and essentially become one of us. I don't know how many Poles you know, but I can say that many are very much like this guy and many love America and what it stands for. So, then all of a sudden, he drops on us this tragic story. And it cannot be confirmed. Are all DWI accidents with fatalities reported? Where did it occir? His reply at the head of this thread seemed like a guy who couldn't believe people would question him at a time of great grief. The evidence points to fraud, but I think there is more to this.

Yes you can confirm it. Drunk driving accidents are reported on the news. It's very easy to find out a day or two after. I haven't found ANYTHING and I think he is a fraud.

Generally, you are correct in that the news reports DWI fatalities.... but what if it's in the sticks? Then perhaps not. Although if it was Jersey, there isn't much rural country there. While it certainly looks like a hose job has been done here... the motive or lack thereof is what is giving me pause. God, if we're wrong....

In any case, what was the guy up to? Does his ip trace go to Poland? Or is it in the US? Very weird.

It's become quite obvious that this person has been lying to us. I find that really sad. I hope that freepers don't swear off of prayer threads, though, because many come here for comfort in great times of need. I am one of them and freeper friends are making my recent loss a bit easier.

Getting into FREEPERS' good graces is all part of the MO.They ALL use emotions,of varying degrees,and then lower the boom,or get caught.

You called the doctor,when you kid had 102? Weren't you ever sick as a child?Most of us know how to handle our child/children's illnesses,because we remember what it was like,when we were sick as kids.And,should you still have children at home,a luke warm sponge bath will also lower a high temperature,as will bundling the sick person up in pajamas,robe,and every blanket and comforter in the house,so that they can sweat it out.

The poster in question,was supposedly living in New Jersey. Yes,vehicular homicides ARE all not only reported,but make at least the local newspaper.Ones involving a drunk driver,who has left the scene of the crime,and one of the murdered women has both of her arms torn off,to boot,usually makes the N.Y. Post. It didn't!

Identity theft? I doubt it.

OT, about the doc and the 102 fever. Yep, our family doc told to call anytime if we had any concerns. Her temp actually went up to 104 before the ibuprofen knocked it down. She was four months old and most meds don't even mention a child of that age... therefore, called the doc. I was a child of that age 39 years ago, so my memory on whatever my parents did was a little fuzzy...

I just wonder what the guy's point is. It's one thing to be a troll, but quite another to be just a wack-job. Maybe he's really Moby and he's laughing his sick ass off now.

Well,it wasn't horrible, that you called the doctor,I just meant that most parents remember what was doe for them,when they were ill as kids and how siblings were taken care of too.Then,there are always family stories.But I'm just going with my own and my friends' life experiences.And it IS always scary,when babies are ill!
