I like Ken Blackwell. It think we do need to return to some of those more conservative values he talks about. Taft has no backbone. He's just a placeholder as far as I'm concerned.

I would like to hear what John Kasich thinks about all this, though. I guess I'll have to write him and find out.

Blackwell's right. There is a move going on to try to position Betty Montgomery (ugh) as the next governor. NO WAY. Blackwell is a low tax, solid conservative. We Ohioans shouldn't let them get away with trying to marginalize him.

"Aside from this fine God-fearing leader, the Ohio GOP is pretty much a worthless wasteland of anklebiting political midgets."

Oh, c'mon Tony, don't hold back with us............

I agree with you, none of the "usual suspects" will get a vote or a dime from me.

Mr. Blackwell is what gives me hope for relevancy of a third party, He'll ultimately be driven out of the stupid party.

Did I hear Mr Blackwell correctly when he stated that he was opposed to legalized gambling in the state?

He was on the Sterling show last PM.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................................

On a personal note,

You came to Ohio FROM Florida?

Are you being punished for something, or are you on the lam and realize that no one would ever consider looking here?

Maryland's Republican Party is the same way, it is not about the candidate it is about how much money the candidate brings with them.

LOL! Yes, to Ohio from Florida! Neither being punished nor on the lam!

Look, I never thought I'd be living in Ohio, either! But when I told God what my plans in life were, He laughed and then showed me what He thought was best, so I followed His advice, and it has worked out pretty well so far! He lets me go back to the sunshine and the Gulf beaches once a year! LOL!

Well, look on the bright side................

Here in Cowtown, we sometimes get snow, sleet, rain, wind, frigid temperatures, sunshine and a general warming trend all in the same afternoon!

Hopefully you've been here long enough to know that we never ever say the "m" word.

Oh, and since you already headed north, I should tell you, you'll have to retire in Wisconsin.

Sorry about that.

Your question reminded me of John Corby. I could just hear him saying that! Hey, are you John?

LOL. Been here 15 years now. It's easier than it used to be! The first few were pretty tough, I'll have to admit.

I have learned about the "m" word. Nuff said. But Wisconsin? I hope God isn't up there chuckling again!
