Not to mention that Al Sharpton is one of the more newsworthy anti-Semites of recent years. I wonder if there will be any mention of Yusuf Hawkins, as well as Tawana Brawley? And the fact that Al Sharpton has been trying to avoid paying a Court ordered libel judgment to Steve Pagones? I haven't seen any news yet that he's paid it. Yeah, he's a great representative of the Democratic party.... I just wonder if the media will cover it at all....

I agree.....but we also had a man who was a "more than alleged" rapist elected POTUS..!! If that isn't incredible...then I'll eat my hat.

Asked by Jacque Reid of the Black Entertainment Network if Sharpton would be welcome on the podium in Boston, Kerry responded with not entirely spontaneous enthusiasm. "If he wants to do it, I'd like him to do it," the presumptive candidate said. "I think he'd do a terrific job. I think he'll add something.... I think he can be very, very helpful in motivating people, registering people."

If I were black I would be completely offended by Kerry's remarks because the remarks at the very least suggest that the only role blacks can expect is to provide votes.

There were times during the dem nomination debates when I watched just to see what Al would say.
Most of the time he made the others look like morons. He is a good speaker even if he is spewing BS.

Jackson isn't exactly a light weight when it comes to anti Jewish statements, remember his calling New York "Himie (sp) Town"? Anyone else making such a statement would have been taken to task by the media.

Everybody knows the Democrats can't win without a large black vote. Kerry cannot count on his own soul appeal to bring it out.

"I'll show dose Democrat suckahs who controls de Black vote."

" In the continuing slapstick motif that has become the Kerry campaign,"

Life imitates art:
I got a a furious email from one of my buddies in Iraq last week.
Word had reached the troops that it was Kerry on the floor of the Senate, calling the President and Vice President "chicken hawks," while a guy in a chicken suit wearing a General's uniform, was flapping around behind him.

Gotta keep ol Darkie on the plantation, you know.

Amazing how this is nothing more than a somewhat more articulate was of encouraging Blacks to say "Yassuh, massah."

Lol, Kerry invites the unstable Rev. Al to speak. How much thought went into that invitation? Heck, while J F'ing's at it, he should invite Donna Brazile as well, after all, look what she was able to do for Al Gore.
