Heck, let him run - encourage him to run! Even the die-hard MN libs surrounding me can't get excited over him. Easy win for Coleman!

It's my opinion that Err American was never designed to stay on the air much after the November election....so I doubt Frankenstain has to worry about breaking any long-term contract.

LOL. Just what we need in the Senate - Al Franken and Hitlery Klintoon at the same time! But since Condi Rice will be President, they will be merely an annoyance and not a national disaster.

You have a point about Jesse, but you'll have noticed that he didn't bother to run for re-election.
Now only the people in the media and on the coasts love him.
He would merely be Franken-food for Coleman should he run.

Don't be so sure Jimmy Carter was elected President largely because he has a nice smile. It's scary to think that Idi Amin could have been President at that time, if not for the 26th Amendment!

...no real politician here in MN wants to run - they'd merely be cast as a loser. Sounds like a perfect match.

Franken looks much better as Stuart Smalley.
He was meant to be a blonde.

The only thing that concerns me is that, after reading this article, I've learned that Franken has reproduced.
What's kind of interesting is that I've just realized that Al Franken is probably more well known for his unsuccessful career search than he is as a failed comedian, failed bookwriter or failed radio host.

My sentiments exactly.
