[history]
An audiotape believed to be from the al Qaeda leader offered a bounty in gold for the deaths of Annan, Iraq envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, U.S. civilian administrator L. Paul Bremer and others.
"We'll have to take precautions and then carry on with my life and my work," Annan said, referring to himself and Brahimi.

Annan: "But... but... I've done everything he told me to do!"

Annan should be annoyed that his price is so cheap. The UN is heavily discounted these days, but with OBL worth 500X the General Secretary where is the respect for history?

Hmmm...anyone think this bounty might be the result of the increased scrutiny now focused on the antics of 'Ol Kofi?
Perhaps he is having some troubles getting the pay-offs to OBL & Co.?
Some collection agencies can be quite harsh...hmmmm?

Yo, Kofi!! Not to worry! OSB is just trying to exort some of the bribe/kick back money you and your son got from Saddam. Tell him to pound bacon bits, you stole that cash fair and square!

A $125K bounty for Kofi? Kind of insulting isn't it?
Goes to show that even terrorists don't respect the U.N.
However I bet ole Kofi is doubling his guards and they're armed with all those HK MP-5's that they aren't supposed to have in the first place. (remember the weapons cache that was found a while back)
And why is the U.N. was able to get access to automatic weapons? And in NY City no less.

SF Republican, I hate to admit it, but I was thinking the same thing. I really don't understand why Osama wants Annan anyway, since Annan has done everything possible to thwart our war effort. However, the price seems right. The only thing is, how would you collect the reward?

Whatever happened to the muslims dying for good old allah. Guess it's getting harder to find homicide bombers lately.

Kofi probably wet his euro suit when he heard about this!

If ten Kilos isn't enough, I 'd be glad to donate my class ring, or would a simple check made out to OBL be enough.
