"Does Next-Door Dog get along with the kids?"

Pretty much. Although that tender skin is pretty ripe for a good nip and I'm waiting for the skin to get broken. That fur covered ball of atomic energy hangs from my wife's shirttails! We told them to get a newfie since the kids love ours so much, but I gather the wife has an allergy problem and the Boston has short hair. His name is "Lone Star" because the wife is from Texas. When they get another, they'll name it "Sunshine" because they now live in Florida.

Bostons are perfect for the allergic - they have very short hair (almost none on their bellies) and they barely shed at all. Also, Salty can be soaked and dripping (which happens more than you'd think), and you have to sniff hard to smell wet-dog.
