Does anyone notice something missing here? Where is the 'Arab street" Where are the mass demonstrations. Where are the pictures of thousands of Iraqis in the streets of Baghdad protesting this "outrage", Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran ? Surely Al Jezzera would be showing them. Where are the British Muslims in their thousands or the Detroit Muslims? In France their Muslims hit the streets in the thousands because of a headscarf ban where are they now? Why is the "outrage" limited to the lily-white media in the US and Europe?

The abuses aren't important; what's important is how Congress gets the word. Congress is the third branch of government, after all, which makes every one of the 535 members of Congress 1/535th of that important one-third, which works out to, hmmmm, well, someone else can do the math. You wouldn't think such little wheels could make so much noise.

There's a lot missing here, Tex; up to and including the fact that these people -- and mean OURS, too -- are a bunch of flaming a$$holes who have been in that building so long they have no idea what is going on in the real world.

The outrage is limited to the media and the lying sacks of crap who are suppose to be OUR representatives!

This is the very essence of a media driven "scandal". All that was lacking were pictures and thanks to David Hackworth, they got them. This is the most blatant act of sedition the US media and a US political party has ever perpetrated.

Please. It's six months to the election; don't tempt them.

Why isn't everyone of those involved, right up to Karpinski placed under a full judicial gag order until all prosecutions completed? Every damned tv interview is a direct violation of the UCMJ. David Hackworth is guilty of making classified material available to CBS and yet he is now making the talk show rounds. We would have lost WW2 with this type of activity going on.

These are some of the same folks that label Bush as "intellectually incurious."

If the media and the Senators keep this up 24/7 as they are doing now, they are going to find out that people are watching local news only, ratings will drop and postering pompous politicos will soon have their constituants telling them to get off the tube, stop already.

Stop abuse, fix it, punish where appropriate and remember we are the good guys who try harder to do right, even under extreme conditions..

Hoods and blindfolds are not abusive in my mind and they are having fits about that...GRrrr

Yeah, there are. The very same ones who call him a liar.

Just because they say it doesn't make it true.

Maybe the Constitution needs to be formated to Comics for the Congress.

My guess would be, Kerry and his kind began paving the way about 30 years ago for this behavior to be overlooked by some and praised by others. Also, we're now living an era when people air everything for fame, money, or any other minor motivation. There is no taboo to going public.
