She has a net worth of 500 Million, and is making less than 1% annual return? You gotta be kidding me!
Of course, this is just "tax information", not an actual tax return. That will not be released until just before after the election...

To put it another way, she paid less that one one-thousanth of her net worth in federal taxes last year.
That's 0.1%.
Now I paid about 6.25% of my net worth in tax last year, and I have more in savings compared to my income than anyone I know. I would expect that the typical family is paying about 10% of their net worth in federal taxes every year, which is a rate 100 times as much as Theresa Kerry pays.
So why is your average Joe Six-Pack paying taxes at 100 times Theresa's rate?

She wants to hide who she gives her money to. Until we can see that we won't have the goods to show the public who she really is, and what a Kerry presidency would really mean.

Just the first two pages? It's the other 27 pages with the breakdowns that's the questionable stuff. She had to file an extension to clean up what she originally was going to file. Gotta give her credit for the perfect timing of the release.

I think you folks are over-reacting. Extensions are normal for complicated returns. My husband has to attach our business return to his and it is never ready till Sept so he files his personal return in October. Totally innocent. I file mine separately before 4/15. I am sure Teresa's is very complicated. She's already paid the tax due as required.
I'm surprised she doesn't show more income but she probably has a lot of charitable contributions to offset it. She also has a lot of wealth tied up in non-earning assets like their many homes, art work and such.
I really don't blame her for wanting to protect her privacy. After all, her husband it going to lose and she'd be revealing her personal business for nothing!

I would NOT object to $5 million per year. You or I could make that kind of dough last a long time. OTOH, if you were flying your personal hairdresser around the country in your Gulfstream private jet to touch up your pet poodle's coif, you'd burn through $5 mil right quick.

I think you folks are over-reacting. Extensions are normal for complicated returns.Extensions are there for complicated returns and those who don't receive all their info by 4/15, however she KNEW well in advance she would be asked to make hers public. She's not one of the average Joes who must wait in line behind a hundred other late taxpayers at the local H&R Block. She doesn't wait in line for anyone. She is wealthy enough to have an entire staff of accountants who do nothing but her taxes who should have been ready with her completed return no later than 11:59 pm April 15th.

Why do I suspect that she's got the same offshore hiding places in the Cayman Islands as those "Evil People" offshoring jobs.Because your instincts are probably correct. These dems leap into these races without considering the skeletons they hold in their closets.
It'll be fun. Somebody will find out the truth and Kerry will backpeddle, flip-flop and get away from it as fast as his bike can take him, as long as he doesn't fall off of it.....
To: hershey
She's pulled the extension trick every year that Botoxboy's run for office What "trick" ? It's legal you know. Just like shipping jobs overseas...
