Where is the Justice for Nick Berg?
Patriot Paradox ^

Posted on 05/12/2004 12:19:06 PM PDT by sonsofliberty2000

Nick Berg died at the edge of a dull blade, the hate of his captors echoed in the cries of Allah Akhbar and the deliberate hacking away at his neck by those who wish to do the same to each and every one of us. He lost his life, of course, and his blood cries out for justice from Iraq. What did Nick Berg do wrong? According to his family he went to Iraq to help rebuild the infrastructure, but his good intentions met with the intentions of terror.

So why did Nick Berg die? He died to put fear back in our homes. He died to try the turn the media even more against this war. We are at war, and while true innocents like Nick Berg die we here an onslaught each and every day and night on ous about how we are the animals. Tell that to Nick Berg. The media, who controls what the people of this country sees and hears will not show what happened to Nick Berg. They will show us blurred pictures of Iraqi prisoners, people who are in prison due to crimes of which we do not know yet are still in a prison, but we will not see pictures of what these terrorists did to Nick Berg. We hear senators from the left say:

Why Carl Levin said:

For the security of this nation we must be open about this, we must root them out, and we must assure the world thereby that in this open society, actions of this kind are going to be dealt with both criminally and within the military code as appropriate,

Will you call for us to root out this evil that killed Nick Berg, Senator Levin?

Ted Kennedy said this:

We have a great sense of revulsion, not only because of these actions, but we also recognize what the dangers are for American troops if they are ever taken prisoners and the kind of treatment that they would be subject to. And this has been a major setback to our interests in that region.

Where is your revulsion now Senator Kennedy?

I know if this was flipped around and a US soldier had done this then the media would have tried and convicted Bush and Rumsfield overnight. The cries of "Bush must apologize!" would be deafening.

Who should apologize now? I'll tell you who. The ones silent while the blood of Nick Berg cries out for justice from the ground of Iraq, and from the hands of his killers

The barbarity that was perpetrated on Nick Berg doesn't warrant anything as civilized as justice.

It warrants quick, terrible and final retribution.

Now let's hunt these bastards down where ever they hide and exterminate them. No negotiations, No reasoning, No prisoners. Just dead.

"200 years from now, I want their children's children's children's children to cower and cringe in fear whenever they hear the sounds of jet engines overhead because their legends tell of fire from the sky.

I want them to hide in dark caves and holes in the earth, shivering with terror whenever they hear the roar of diesel engines because the tales of their ancestors talk about metal monsters crawling over the earth, spitting death and destruction.

I want their mothers to be able to admonish them with "If you don't behave, the Pale Destroyers will come for you", and that will be enough to reduce them to quivering obesience.

I want the annihilation to be so complete that their mythology will tell them of the day of judgment when the stern gods from across the sea .. the powerful 'Mericans .. destroyed their forefathers' wickedness."

I don't know, but a good start would be to find out why the U.S. government prevented him from returning home when he was scheduled to leave.

Democrat Senators and the American "News Media" now have American blood on their hands

Well it has happened. The past week's dangerously irresponsible demagoguery by the Democrat Party leadership, egged on by the DNC directed "News" Media's hyperventilation over the Iraqi Prisoner abuse, has now lead to the barbaric execution of an American Hostage, Nick Berg, in Iraq. The current political grandstanding by Democratic Party leaders, cheer lead by the "mainstream news media", is directly responsible for Nick Berg's death. The Democrat Senate Leaders are an embarrassment to their States, their Offices and themselves, Nick Berg's blood on the hands of the Democratic Leadership from John Kerry to Mark Dayton. Nick Berg's blood is also on the hands of the Democrat Party Cheerleaders in the so called American "News Media. Despicable is too gentle a word to describe the political power whores that run today's Democrat Party and the American "News Media". News for you Democrat scum. No amount of pro-terrorist propagandizing will stop these people from sawing your head off if they get their hands on you. They are barbaric thugs who want you dead. Grow up you spoiled brats. This is not a political "gotcha" game. YOUR words and actions are getting Americans MURDERED!

- this is my letter to all who will read -

Let there be no mistake, we are fighting pure evil. What other name is there? We can’t call them animals because even animals do not hate and destroy like these vile creatures. These evil men who murder, mutilate and destroy, who’s acts rip and claw at the very core of the human soul. These men cannot be placated and they cannot be contained.

This is not a Muslim thing, millions of Muslims live life without a thought of mass murder. This is a culture of death, a sub-set of a faith fouled by death and hate and destruction. Take no heart in numbers though, they few hundreds of thousands, maybe millions have been tearing at all that is good for centuries, whatever their current incarnation.

They send their children out as bombs, they mutilate their women, they murder innocents and they seek to destroy humanity as we know it. They do not simply hate the US, they hate anybody not like them, and it is only that the US is a convenient target, a target that presents itself in an effort to make a better world.

You likely did not see the slow beheading of Dan Pearl or Nick Berg. The images of the mutilated, burned and abused bodies of Americans hung from that bridge were not shown on the evening news. The pictures of those in the burning towers of 9/11, jumping to their death to escape certain death by fire are seldom viewed. The terrible video of US soldiers being drug through the streets of Mogadishu are gut wrenching, but few bore witness.

But these are the deeds, the real evil face of our enemy. An enemy found in Iraq, Afghanistan, Spain, Russia and even in the United States of America. We cannot turn our eyes from the pain or cover our ears to the screams; we must face with all our courage this common enemy to humankind.

Afghanistan and Iraq are just the beginning and Americans and citizens of the world must steel their resolve. If we don’t get them first, they will get us.

...but slow slow 'humane' death to the terrorists - something like tying them to an anthill and pouring syrup on them.

Congratulations to Martie MaGuire of the Dixie Chicks she just gave birth to twins. I believe their names are Uday and Qusay.

Uh, no. It's a Muslim thing:

Seize them and put them to death wherever you find them, kill them wherever you find them, seek out the enemies of Islam relentlessly. (Sura 4:90)

Fight them until Islam reigns supreme. (Sura 2:193)

Cut off their heads, and cut off the tips of their fingers. (Sura 8:12)

Allah threatens the Muslim who does not make war on the "unbelievers" with death. (Sura 9:39)

That's a lie - American Forces ARE the forces with jurisdiction over Iraq until July 1. One call to U.S. troops with word his life was in danger could have prevented the barbarians from killing him.

Maybe you should tell GWB to get serious.

I notice Saudia Arabia is still funneling millions into the islamo-fascist schools across the world. Oh yea, to quote GWB..."the Saudis are our friends".....here's another one...."you're either with us, or against us"......do these quotes ring a bell?
You, like GWB fail to realize it IS a Muslim thing. To these people, it IS a holy war. Just because YOU do not accept it, does not make it untrue. Just listen to the people who are doing the talking on the other side.
And no, I'm NOT a hardcore religious nutter either....

Meanwhile, back on planet earth, in a country called the United States of America, thousands stream across our borders illegally every 24 hours.

You are delusional, if you think GWB is actually serious about fighting the WOT.

Muslim thing? I know what your saying, but it does not strike a cord with the public who has Muslim neighbors who live in peace. I submit that the media and anti-war political activists must take some responsibility for Mr. Berg's slaughter. In JANUARY the military informed 20 news organizations about the investigations into the US treatment of prisoners. While this made news at the time no pictures were published. CBS had pictures, but didn't publish until THE NEW YORKER was coming out with them. For 4 months we did not have any retaliation. We did not need to see the pictures at this time. The matter was being handled by the proper authority. Actions already have been and will be taken to punish those US personnel guilty of improper treatment. The media decided they HAD to publish the pictures and POLITICIANS jumped on board with Mr Berg's horrible death a DIRECT result. The left wing media and political activists are so consumed with hatred of Bush that they are doing what they did about Vietnam. More American soldiers were killed and those in prison suffered as a direct result of the same tactics (including those of Kerry). Somewhere on Free Republic is the WSJ article of several years ago re the interview of a Viet Cong officer who detailed how they used the US media and anti-war activists against our troops.

Um, where's the massive outpouring of outrage from the putative mainstream of this religion? Heck, I'm *still* waiting for more than just a few random Muslims to come out and issue unqualified condemnations of the 9/11 attacks. Mostly, we get some banal b.s., such as "Yes, it's a horrible thing, BUT (fill in the blank with some Blame America excuse, and if possible, take a swipe at Israel)..."

If some atrocities had been committed by a small sect or offshoot in the name of just about any other religion, I am confident that the rest of the people of that religion would come down - hard - to condemn them. Instead, we get silence and some tepid words from Muslims. At this point, I have no reason not to believe that most in the so-called mainstream at least tacitly support the radicals. Maybe they just don't have the 'nads to get out there and do it themselves.

This is not a Muslim thing, millions of Muslims live life without a thought of mass murder.

The exact same thing could have been said about the Nazis a couple generations ago. Most Nazis were probably the type of people who made great neighbors and all that stuff we hear about the good muslims. Only a few actually were doing most of the dirty work --- but what we were fighting then involved the Nazi thing --- just like what we're fighting now involves the Muslim thing.

But we did not target all Germans simply for being Germans.

I do not make excuses for the Muslim "faith", but I will not target law abiding Muslims in this country or anywhere.

I will point out their hypocrisy and responsibility for complacency.
