May be an ironic result of the beheading, may backfire of the terrorists.

This is BS there is not one advisor to the POTUS that said this. It is as usual an unnamed source. I dont buy it.

What it really goes to show is that people respect stregth deep down. George Bush has it, and most people know it, no matter if they like the President or not. As for the treasonous Media, and other socialist congress critters, that's another matter.

Remember, these prisoners are not there for traffic violations, they're murderers, they're terrorists, they're insurgents. They probably have American blood on their hands and here we're so concerned about the treatment of those individuals. They probably deserved what they got given to them. The most profound words since, "Four score and seven years ago...."

Why did we have to capture Saddam when we did? If only he were still on the loose, we could blame him for this and use that as retroactive justification for the invasion. Now all we can blame is that stupid Al Qaeda. This war has been so mismanaged.

God works in mysterious ways. The whole Iraqi prison debacle was spiraling out of control, then this. If you notice, every time a lib scandal comes to light, something shuts it down several days after. Consistently.

To be honest, the fact that some Iraqi POWs have been abused doesn't really mattter to me. What bothers me was that military discipline, in this case, had broken down to the point that U.S. military personnel would degrade and dishoner themselves by participating in such activities. Our people shouldn't act like animals with no sense of morality or plain common sense knowledge of right and wrong.
However, one could not but feel a little sympathy for these Iraqi POWs. However, any sympathy I may have previously felt is gone after the savage taking of Mr. Berg's life by thugs for Allah! I would like to incinerate every radical Islamist without any mercy. I want to rid the world forever of this blight on humanity. I don't want to negotiate or talk to them, I want them dead. I don't care what the UN or NATO or any country thinks, I want them dead and gone - hunt to down and kill them all. Spare no expense, hold back no weapon. Destroy them and anyone foolish enough (even in this country) to support them - even verbally. Enough of talk and half measures. Israel's leader has the right idea.

Finally all that pressure being piled on by those abuse photographs has all but blown away. I wish that were true - all of the "Big 3" national news broadcasts spent more face-time on the "abuse photos" than the murder of Mr. Berg. So I turn the channel and find that MSNBC and CNN are doing the same... These fools just can't get a clue. (or more like it, don't want to).

To be honest our spin doctors were working 24 hours a day trying to pull us out of that quagmire and along come our enemies and do it for us. I must remember to thank them
when Ive had the marines fry their testicles and nail their asses back to last July for doing something like that to a potential Bush voter. Did a Bush "adviser" really say that?

Well, Inhofe, to be fair the goal wasn't to punish them, and it still isn't, but rather to get information.
