Yawn. I'll believe this when I see it. This would be entirely out of character for Republicans.
And if they were going to do it, they should have done it for Estrada.
But then, if his name were Michael Street, the Dimmycraps wouldn't have said a darn thing in oppostion to him.
Maybe W should think about Estrada for Supreme Court.

Do we have 51 votes?
What about Specter, McCain, Chaffee, and all the RINO bunch?

But some centrist Democrats are cautious to join the blame game. Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) said he did not want to point fingers, adding that it takes time to get things done in the Senate.
'Centrist' my patootie.

I'm sick of the threats. These guys are so inept that if they did decided on the nuclear option, the Dems would make the Pubbies out to be the bad guys and, of course, would get plenty of help from the media.
Remember how Newt was demonized during the gov't shut down?
I always remember the FBI files. I don't think any one of them wants to take this on for fear that info from his file will be leaked.
When the Lott/Thurmond debacle happened, I hope that Don Nickles or Rick Santorum would take the helm. But, alas, we have the kind doctor from Tennessee who couldn't play hardball if he tried.

if the Republicans in the Senate actually exercise the "Nuclear Option" their support will double. For far too many years, the Republicans have failed to truly confront the Dem's because of spending so many years in the Minority. They have yet to understand that they actually have control. Invoking the "Nuclear Option" would embolden them and set the stage for many success's for years to come.
Here's hoping they grow a pair

Time to fight fire with fire. Daschle would pull the nuclear trigger in a minute.

I am clueless and disgusted. I am going to D.C. this weekend and if good fortune shines on me, I won't run into any of these people, ours or theirs, so I won't have to bailed out of jail.
I am LIVID at all of them!

Oh, you just wait when the Pubbies get the majorities in Congress, Senate and state gummerships in November. They'll show 'em then, you just watch buster!

I disagree, They aren't surrendering.... they haven't woken up yet...
Someone needs to remind these fools that they are in the Majority now, and they need to act like it. THAT'S All!
