Just a note in case any Freepers want to attend or ptoest this event. This was posted in a tiny blip on page of the OCRegister on May 12. State Senator Gil Cedillo will have a rally starting at 6pm at Valley High School in Santa Ana. Then they will march to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1100 South Center Street, Santa Ana CA 92704. The parish phone number is (714) 751-5335.

As a Catholic, I object to these meetings because the Holy Father forbids us to support pro-abortion politicians. So I'd like to know how the Catholic church justifies this shameful hypocrisy and endorsement of this senator, who consistently votes against church teachings: Cedillo is pro-abortion, pro stem cell research, & pro homosexual-'marriage'.

As a political conservative, I object to this because we I believe in sovereignty; and we don't have to erase our borders and reward law-breakig invaders in order to be 'compassionate'.

Bishop Todd Browns' office said that the Bishop is "out of the country" and that they hadn't known this event was taking place.

I'd appreciate it if the INS would take a moment from their busy schedule to attend the rally.

I'll do my protesting with a petition. ;-) Have a great day though. Great weather for a peaceful protest.

"Cedillo is pro-abortion, pro stem cell research, & pro homosexual-'marriage'."

Makes one wonder who he represents. Surely not his Hispanic constituents.

Best of luck to you!
