"He was not a friend of my son's, not even an acquaintance," Berg said. "Just a guy sitting next to him on the bus. The FBI was satisfied with that."

"The FBI was satisfied with that" -- what sort of a weird statement is that? That's the statement of someone guilty of something, trying to hide somthing.

He might as well have said the FBI bought the story.

These ANSWER guys are out to lunch. They really believe that helping AQ will get their support and not a hole in the ground.

Berg had ties to one of the potential 9/11 hijackers, and not just acquaintance, that is totally bizarre, and under reported. He went to Iraq to do work he was unqualified for, and there is no evidence he did any work. He had the money to do this HOW? He was offered a plane trip free of IRAQ courtesy the US government, and he turned it down, WHY? He was a jewish person in Iraq, and didn't think that was a problem?

His dad is lying. His dad also sold his son's soul for politics. Even so, Dios mio, no one deserves to die like that. Our resolve should be more, not less. His father should be ashamed he participated in his own son's death, via ANSWER. And the only thing President Bush should have to give, in reply, is a mirror.

"Berg said he did not blame the terrorists for his son's violent death."

This man needs to answer some pointed questions and come clean with his part in his son's death. If he can't blame the terrorists, that leaves only thing to think--he knowingly participated in some way in his son's horrific death. Oh God, I'm getting sick to my stomach over the thought.

Berg said he did not blame the terrorists for his son's violent death.

He is not only a sympathizer he is also a nut case.

Michael Berg said his son had attended the university and had been taking a course at a remote campus, near the airport, and had to take a bus to get there.

Remote campus?
Trips to Iraq?
Coincidental e-mail with terrorist.
Rejects travel offer out of Iraq.
A friend said he thought he was boating in Turkish waters.
For his 26 years, Nick Berg was quite the nomad.

The liberal mindset absconds from personal responsibilities and directs blame from ones own failures

This is incredible. They actually mention the incredible crackpot theory. Next thing you know, they might even suggest that Bill Clinton raped a woman and took 900 grand from Bernie Schwartz to keep him out of prison.

Berg said, just before taking off on his morning bicycle ride.

And the coconut didn't fall too far from the tree.

"Berg said he did not blame the terrorists for his son's violent death."

ummm, yeah, I guess they only cut off his head ... probably some way to blame McDonald's for Big Macs ... or perhaps Global Warming ... or the International Zionist Conspiracy ... (makes about as much sense) ...

I'm sorry he lost his son, but I've got some serious information to share ... the terrorists ARE to blame for his son's death ... sounds like Stockholm Syndrome ...

I caught a brief glance of her on Fox news.
I think it's safe to say that her husband
runs his mouth enough for the entire family.

Wake up Michael Berg, your son was killed by our enemy, the muslim terrorists, just like 3000 of your fellow US citizens were on 9/11/2001.

Actually it is quite a bit more complicated than that.

Nick Berg voluntarily went to Iraq because he could make more money there than at home. Why was the pay higher? Because it was dangerous.

Not all civilians in Iraq are killed or injured, but enough of them are so that the pay is very high. Nick rolled the dice and lost.

It is a shame and our nation should take retribution on his killers, but our leaders have no responsibility for what happened to him.

What, oh what, is in these peoples gray matter to reach such conclusions?

Their hatred of Bush knows no bounds, even that of reasoned sanity.

Now we know why a leftist blames guns instead of the muderer of their loved ones. They hate the constitution, the second ammendment, and above all they hate legal gun owners.

This missive from Berg senior has given me an insight into the leftist's mind set I had never understood until now.

May God save us all if they should ever come back into power.

'The list appeared on www.freerepublic.com, a neo-conservative, pro-war Web site, on March 7. It posted questions from an unidentified reporter from Salon.com Thursday. '

Please forgive my ignorance, but could you explain to me what this statement means ( neo-conservative)?

I saw the pictures of Michael Berg breaking down in tears, along with his son and daughter. These photos were taken on the day they found out how Nick was killed, which was a couple of days after they heard of his death.
I wondered why were they outside their house crying. The father was sitting on the grass all twisted with grief. It was sad to see, but still...why the public display of grief?
I wouldn't leave my house.
Yesterday, the sister spoke to the media and was testy as hell, telling them that YOU (the media) will not be allowed at the services. I understand grief, but now the father's making all these crazy accusations in the media.
Something's up with this story.

This story is so freaky...I need to step away from it...

It has consumed from the moment it broke...

I wonder if Harris Corp has comment on Nick Berg?

Harris Corp is the Florida based company that won the contract to handle the Iraqi Media rebuild. If indeed young Mr Berg had a piece of that action as his emails to his parents say...

What does Harris Corp have to say...more importantly what does Youseff (Joe) Sleimen have to say? He is the Lebanese born front man for Harris Corp in Iraq...has Joe ever met Nick?

Go here and read all about Harris Corp and Youseff (Joe) Sleimen. It is a very interesting read into the grity business of contracting in Iraq

Harris Corp Home

Stop me before I post again on this story....I need a beer
