Actually, while Gene and Paul are Jewish, Peter Criss is of Italian descent and Ace Frehly is of Pennsylvania Dutch background. The Ramones are another great band that was mostly Jewish (Joey and Marky; Johnny is Italian-Irish, and I'm not sure what DeeDee's background was.

While I'm certain someone else will doubtless correct you by the time I've finished typing this: neither Peter nor Ace were Jewish, as per Gene's own accounting in KISStory. (Gene himself, as well as Paul, were, of course.)
