I Donít Care: Itís Their Turn to Be Scared
FR | 5/13/04 | Sean Finnegan

Posted on 05/13/2004 9:32:37 PM PDT by nunya bidness

I watched the most brutal example of human depravity when I watched Nick Berg’s head carved off by a dull knife at the hands of so-called Muslims in the name of a religion of peace during a time of war. September 11th has faded as a surreal memory but this time the reminder of our enemies is personal. This isn’t a long shot of planes hitting a building with Hollywood special effects or dust filled canyons of stone reminiscent of some movie. This is a visceral, gut-wrenching, up close and personal murder in the name of people who want to kill you and me. The images may fade but the sound of Nick’s voice is haunting and will never leave my mind. This is the face of our enemies and it puts perfect perspective to the world today.

It makes me want to kill jihadists. It makes me want to smash the teeth of anyone who pontificates on our shores about an illegal war. It makes me want to do something. I won’t forget what I saw and heard but unless you elected to seek out this video you won’t have any idea what happened. But you’ve probably noticed that some Iraqi prisoners were “mistreated” at the hands of some misfits in a jail in Baghdad. Here’s my answer: I don’t care. I don’t care if men with a better stomach than I have are delegated to do unspeakable things to other human beings to prevent another attack on this country. That’s the ugly side of this mess. And we didn’t start it.

Many people will say that we did by supporting dictators and governments by trying to prop up their cause in an attempt to bring stability but it blew back in our faces. I don’t care. Some will say that we did by exporting excess but I don’t care. Others will say that we were attacked but the bad guys we’re going after aren’t the ones that did this to us. To them I have one response: Tell that to Nick Berg. They’re there and we’re there and we’re not leaving until every one of them that is drawing breath and intending to do the same to one of us is dead. It’s that simple.

All the patchwork moral relativism is a joke when you see the example that the “religion of peace” has provided to us. And if there’s any doubt, the answer is simple: I don’t care. But people will wring their hands and say, “We’re better than that…” We were but that was yesterday. But people will say, “We’re there to change hearts and minds…” Fine. Change the ones that can be changed but otherwise give every one of them the chance to meet their maker they mention every time they cut someone’s head off. It’s evil and it’s time to call it such. When faced with an enemy that is shouting the name of God while cutting a man’s head off while he is screaming there’s something wrong and it ain’t us.

Islam has a choice. Step up and prove by its actions that it is worthy of sharing space with the civilized world or get ready for the next Crusade. The middle ground is getting thinner by the minute. Every day another example of their brutality is exposed while our humanity is squashed. We didn’t export this brutality to their shores it was brought to us. Nick Berg didn’t bring death to them but they brought it to him. Daniel Pearl didn’t bring it to them but they brought it to us.

There are brave men and women over there right now within a whisker of these killers who could be hamstrung by politicians and pundits and I pray that they have the sense to kill any one of these scumbags that cross their sights in anything approaching an aggressive posture. I pray that each one of these soldiers has the insight to know that, if given the chance, they can prevent one of these killers from getting on a plane and coming here. And to anyone who might ask, “What if we’re wrong?” My answer is simple: I don’t care.

Amen! I've had the same feeling for two days, ever since I saw the pics of 26 year old Nick Berg's horrible death. As the parent of a twenties year old son, I watched in horror the brutal death of the young. He even resembled my son. My thoughts were that for the grace of God that could have been my son. I want to see those 5 islamic pigs die the same horrible death. I want to see retribution for the Nick Bergs, the Daniel Pearls and many others who died at the hands of the islamic murderers. Berg's death is wake up call to these pigs that preach islam is a religion of peace. Retribution is wanted.

On the Inhabitants of the Middle East

200 years from now, I want their children's children's children's children to cower and cringe in fear whenever they hear the sounds of jet engines overhead because their legends tell of fire from the sky.

I want them to hide in dark caves and holes in the earth, shivering with terror whenever they hear the roar of diesel engines because the tales of their ancestors talk about metal monsters crawling over the earth, spitting death and destruction.

I want their mothers to be able to admonish them with "If you don't behave, the Pale Destroyers will come for you", and that will be enough to reduce them to quivering obeisance.

I want the annihilation to be so complete that their mythology will tell them of the day of judgment when the stern gods from across the sea .. the powerful 'Mericans .. destroyed their forefathers' wickedness.

There's martyrdom, and then there's what we could be doing to them.

and i do suspect that most of these martyrs' mothers do weep for their loss, when their late sons' 'friends' and foreign cameras, are not around.

In any event, i am not opposed to making martyrs, so long as we make them dead.

A toast to the next Crusades.

I am glad that there are others who feel as I do that this mess has got to be stopped. The islamics need to be sat down hard. This savage murder of Nick Berg has drawn a clear line on which people will have to chose where to stand.

The America haters have made their choice. I have made mine. I love this country.

BRAVO! I heard the audio, and I will never forget it, and you know what? The pictures of terrorists with panties on their heads, or naked and on leashes (Hollywood puts this out all of the time btw) doesn't bother me when I realize who they are and what they are there for.

What does bother me is the fact that the media is not even pretending to be objective and are manipulating the citizens of this country at the risk of our security and the safety of our troops. I am furious that they show those stupid pictures over and over and PRETEND that is TORTURE! Torture is what happened to every person on those airplanes on 911 who realized what was about to happen to them and were helpless to do anything. TORTURE was those poor souls in the Twin Towers who had to jump to their deaths and splatter like watermelons in order to keep from burning to death. TORTURE was the slow deliberate sawing off of the head of a young American boy who perhaps as we are now hearing might have thought these subhumans were his friends!

I wish our military would be allowed to do another real shock and awe against these scum, and that the American people would get a clue and realize that our lives are at stake, and that we have an enemy within and without and we better stand up and fight them! Our lives and our children's future depend on it.

I hear you, but I hope for something better......

200 years from now I hope their children's children's children look back on the horror their ancestors embraced and reject it utterly long having since joined the rest of humanity and embraced peace. Thankful that America and President Bush had the courage to change the world for the better and remove the human cancer from earth. I know were along way from that day.

baloney nunya....
Islam HAD its choice.
Look at what we got... NO SERIOUS repentance from the arabislamofascists anywhere... and for two years almost.

time up.
Crusade sounds just about right... for NOW.

We can win hearts and minds... when they cower in fear at the snap of a twig, and crap their shorts at the sound of a falling drop of water.

Until they are terrified of us, they will never repent, for TERROR is their GOD... and only to TERROR will they ever bow.

Turn them to pillars of salt on a sea of glass... one city at a time. Where to start?

What I want is for Pres Bush to formally declare that from now on it will be US policy to interrogate any islamofascists connected with alQaeda according to new conventions.

No longer will these prisoner scum be made to wear black hoods, but be forced to wear PIGS HEADS instead.

And photos of this should be sent to every Islamic media outlet around the world.

It must be made absolutely clear to every alQaeda wannabe punk that they know for certain exactly what he can expect when captured by US Forces.

Now, will the Euroweenies and pro-jihadist anti-American leftists squeal with horror? Sure. What else would we expect from them?

Will they consider this a form of 'torture'? To tell the truth, I REALLY don't give a damn and IMO neither should anyone else.
Those leftists who say that torture is making a prisoner any way uncomfortable, what interrogation techniques are we seriously expected to use? Tickling?

Will the 'arab street' rise up in massive demonstrations? So what else is new?

But two things will be clear not only to the so-called arab street, but also to the 'arab sewer' as well as to every moderate muslim who wishes to see America win the war against the terrorists.

One, is that we will do whatever is necessary to win and they can count on America to do so.
And two, that alQaeda wannabe recruitment will dry up almost immediately.

As for those who say this will offend "muslim sensibilities', I say, what about our sensibilities seeing our American brother savagely having his head hacked off while those vile killers scream "God is Great" for the camera?

So let's get rid of the black hoods and replace them with PIGS HEADS. Then when they scum die thinking they will be met with 72 virgins, instead they will be meeting 72 VIRGINIANS [Washington, Jefferson, R.E. Lee, etc]

.

The jihad bus left the station 1400 years ago. Mohammed (presently burning in hell) is the butcher/forefather of all Muslims.

Crusade or jihad?

Obviously not. There are still mosques standing in the US, and Islam has not been outlawed as it should be, just like any other conspiracy to commit mass murder.

Millions of these people are already here. If any significant number of muslims in America were truly apalled at Islamic terror the world saw on 9/11, or any of the other thousands of muslim terrorist attacks around the world, they would have already renounced Islam as a valid religion and followed another path. They haven't.

It will get much worse, and closer to home, before Americans wake up -- and by then it might be too late.

When your back is against the wall you've still made a decision. Peril is no longer the realm of the unaffected. Now it's our backyard.

We're so close to the nuke option versus the moon-god cult and we don't even know it. Well, except the rest of the country compared to the select few with a voice.

Excellent post - you are 100% correct. In response to the future mythology of Islam, I like this version better:

One day, a father and his young son are at Ground Zero looking at the monument, and the son reads the plaque to his dad. It tells of the Arabs flying the planes into the buildings, and of the people that died that day. Then in puzzlement, the boy looks up at his dad and asks "Daddy, what were Arabs?"

The sound of his voice will never leave my mind, followed by their death chant in the name of God. If that wasn't evil I don't know what is.

nunya, I wrote this screed a long time ago, but I still stand by every word of it--

The entire West ( dare I say "the civilized World?" ) is locked in a fight to the death with militant Islam.

There will be no second-place winner, no "third way" solution-- it is March or Die time, folks.

It is Us versus an eighth-century "culture" of plunder, forced religious "conversions," and the mistreatment of women.

The sooner we face up to this fact realistically and quit dancing around PC talking-point nonsense about diversity and tolerance, the better off we'll all be.

We did not pick this fight- which really has roots in Jimmy Carter's appeasement in 1979 of militants- but we had damned well better see it for what it is, and be prepared to face it and finish it.

I'll put it in raw, personal terms-- I don't want Sharia law visited upon my women, and I don't want a goat-roper "culture" infesting my land.

I don't want their vile, nasty, loathsome weapons of mass destruction loosed upon my fair country, either.

They picked the fight, and now it is up to us to finish it- balls to the wall, hammer and anvil, fire and blood and iron... freedom is never, ever free, and the coin you pay it in is men's lives and tears and blood.

What we saw during Gulf War I was our military doctrine ( high tech ) versus Soviet doctrine ( throw a lot of low tech iron at the problem )-- and we all know how that turned out.

What we have just seen in the 3-Week War is Information-Tech,
( What some are calling it Hyperwarfare... )
or 21st Century warfare versus 20th Century...

What I would suggest, and call your attention to, is the fact that we, and Israel, are capable of waging 21st Century warfare, and the entire Arab world is not.

Proven fact, by recent events.

One more thing- this will be a war where we are all called to be warriors- so I suggest to you that the time has come to get hard, and stay hard... it really is the time for fire and blood and Iron...

Let me reiterate this most salient point:

One more thing- this will be a war where we are all called to be warriors- so I suggest to you that the time has come to get hard, and stay hard... it really is the time for fire and blood and Iron...

I kid you not, "the economy, stupid," the latest doings on "Survivor" or Queer Eye, will matter not if and when the head-sawers get to our Malls and day-care centers...

There is NOT a word I can disagree with.

You want to find the killers.....just let them know that the Islamic world has 24 hours to hand over those 5 masked cowards...or a medium tactical nuke will explode over Medina.

..and if that doesn't get their attention...you can tell them the next city to go is Mecca.

No more fooling around...no more second chances...this time it's for real.

Brilliant! Thank you for putting this together and sharing it with us.

This is a visceral, gut-wrenching, up close and personal murder in the name of people who want to kill you and me.

You summed up what I've been feeling since the morning of 9/11/01. Ever since I stood, helplessly, in the street and watched people plummet from 1/4 of a mile in the sky to their rather brutal deaths and then watched the North Tower of the WTC collapse, knowing full well that people were dying with each downward movement, I know that feeling.

What you've written here needs to be widely distributed; it's that important.

It is geting close to 30 Jun and then the rules will change. The Iraqi police are working on this latest case, and if this is ever going to end it must be so. They have to police themselves, and it appears they can do so. We could kick the dog of war if we are getting impatient, but this thing will take a generation to go away at best and we might as well settle in for the long haul.

why is drunk ass ted kennedy still in the senate?? why is robert byrd, who is old enough to remember when rocks were still soft, still in the senate?? why did strom thurmond stay in the senate till he was 100 yrs old?? how did that dike bitch hillary ever get in the senate to begin with??

"We need the Patton ethos now, not after more people die like Berg and Pearl."

I would prefer the Sherman ethos. I remember the first Osama video that surfaced after 9/11. He was holding court with a bunch of his slobbering worshippers, grinning and expressing his pleasure at how the attacks had exceeded his highest expectations.

Too many Americans fail to recognize the hatred felt toward us by these cowards. Too many Americans fail to realize that there is NO threshold to their animosity. If 3,000 dead in one day was grand in their eyes, 30,000 would have been better still and given the capability they would not stop at 300,000. Given the ability they would kill every last American, man, woman and child. The only things holding them at bay are the noble and courageous members of our armed forces and their own backward technological ineptitude.

I was talking to a paramedic friend that went to Ground Zero after 9/11 and today watched the Nick Berg video and he summed it up for me. He said that 9/11 was surreal but this was personal. It is. It's personal.

And I don't care to see one more picture of an "innocent" Iraqi prisoner with panties on his head while listening to some TV blowhard tell me how offensive it is for Muslims to see that. It's offensive for me to see a young man who went there to help them get his head hacked off like an animal.

Well, 9/11 was rather personal for me -- I was there and I lost friends and neighbors that awful morning. It was also kind of surreal, but intensely personal.

I agree with every word here!
