May 14, 2004 -- Nick Berg, the young American beheaded by terrorists in Iraq, had an earlier encounter with a Muslim fanatic - and inadvertently provided accused 9/11 al Qaeda operative Zacarias Moussaoui with his e-mail password. The bizarre twist was confirmed by the Justice Department and Berg's father. In what one Justice official described as a "coincidental" link, both the telecommunications whiz from West Chester, Pa., and the accused 9/11 conspirator were in Norman, Okla., in 2000.

I am sorry to say, but there is something screwy here. Giving your e-mail password is akin giving your PIN # for your ATM card to me.

Of course he could have been an idealistic college kid, but there are a lot of things not adding up.

Too much "coincidence" here for me. There was something very strange going on with this man and I don't think we've heard the last of it.

It's all starting to come out. At first I figured the father was just wraught with emotion, and I gave him a pass. Now that I've read he's anti-American, has spoken to presumptive nominee Kerry, I'm a little frustrated with the father. He's on par with the Jersey Girls at the 9/11 Commission hearings.

I don't know, maybe I'm just not that friendly, but who lends their computer to a stranger? It's not like a pen or pencil. And if they were on a bus, how did this guy end up accessing his e-mail?

"Someone [on the bus] asked to use his computer. College kids do that all the time. It turned out that this guy was a terrorist and he used my son's e-mail, amongst many other students he did that to," said the senior Berg

Oh man....

With the number of free e-mail services out there, I don't know why he gave Moussaoui his personal e-mail password. Berg was obviously too naive.

Press accused of ignoring beheading***WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Friends and neighbors of hometown businessman Nicholas Berg said yesterday his beheading by Islamists in Iraq has been underplayed by journalists, who are devoting more attention to the Iraqi prisoner-abuse scandal.

"This is typical of journalism," said Bruce Hauser, a next-door neighbor and longtime friend of the Berg family. "Bad news is hot when it's hot. Now it seems like 72 hours after we learn about [Mr. Berg's] death, we've gone from the front page to page 3 or page 7." ***

I wouldn't just let anyone use my computer, let alone e-mail address or freely pass around my password.

And then his accomplices murder him when he goes to a hell hole, for the wrong reasons.

This is bizarre. And Dad is an idiot, blinded by his philosophy. Very sad.

Berg was obviously too naive.

Or...maybe not. Maybe being, as his father said, their "best friend."

Meere wild schpeculation , but I just get this nagging suspicion the Berg was working for Al Qaeda, doing communications work in concert with his dad until he outlived his usefulness
Just connecting the dots

One purely speculative theory of mine is this:
Berg was in Iraq with the comm tower non-job for cover-for-action to travel around odd places.

His real mission was to act as a messenger, trying to become a go-between from Int'l A.N.S.W.E.R. to Al Queda. I mean, ANSWER can't exactly just pick up a phone to call Al Queda. To communicate with them, you have to GO to where they ARE, and fish around dropping hints, until you're picked up.

That's when you tell them the glorious news: you have come from a group "allied in the struggle against the Western imperialists" yadda yadda. You have a message, and an offer to coordinate activities, or perhaps hints on how to tweak their operations for the best effect, IOW, what and when to pull an operation which will result in the defeat of George W. Bush in November.

You expect to be treated fairly well, perhaps roughed up like the fake Japanese hostages/peace activists. After all, you can't talk to Al Queda, and just walk away like nothing happened.

But they saw the Jewish name Berg, and the Israeli passport stamp, and that trumped his ANSWER credentials. When the AG Prison scandal hit the papers.... Nick went on to serve a higher Al Queda purpose: human sacrifice on film.

That's why Daddy Berg (Mr. ANSWER) said "They killed their best friend."

The above is pure speculation on my part.

Best tinfoil ,SWAGuess ,movie script, is "IF" he was ANSWERing their call, helping em, then they saw him engaged with the Iraqi police, FiBi's, DOD and CIA assets......decided he was too much of a unknown and his contacts with alphabet agencies as a suspect were misinterpreted by the tangos as spying against them .

Just a possibility.......Stay Safe !
