This new forum setup just sucks...Why do people always ruin a good thing? I used to like coming here, now its like navigating some bloatware site. Is there a reason for this?

Actually, I've been rather irritated at the change to the search results page.
Used to be that I'd get the "post" link on the search results page. For a couple of months now I do not.
Given that it's considered good etiquette to always search to see if something has been posted before posting it, we should only be posting after having done a search. And hence having the search results page not having a "post" link is a constant aggravation, and makes little sense.

What has changed about the forum setup? There was a minor color change, and Jim added an icon to notify you if someone posts to you. But everything else is pretty much the same.
