Je$$e HiJack$on before the Repubies took over Congress was pushing for a one time tax on all Iras, 401/403's and Keoughs.
That money would have gone to the "poor and in particuliar the "descendants of slaves".
When that was done, he then wanted a similiar tax on the pension funds each individual had at that time if their corporation had such a fund.
My Mother who died last year in her late 80's predicted that the rats would try to "tax" all of these funds in the late 1980's. My brother in law and I were discussing how well my 401k, iras, my wife's ira and his Keough were doing. My Mother, said, "If you are not taxed by the rats above and beyond your normal taxation rates when you withdrawal your funds, it will be a miracle!"
That is another good reason to keep the tax and spend al Querry out of office and his rat pack out of congress.

I concur...the same
VERY OLD playbook.
..the GOP has controlled the house for over 9 years...during that time and talk radio, its been shown that the Democratic Playbook to be nothing more than a cheap collection worn-out campaign tactics...to scare the hell out of Sr. Citizens, every two years...

Repealing the Second Amendment "Haven't you ever thought it a bit odd that leftists and Democrats are generally opposed to the concept of the private ownership of firearms, while conservatives and libertarians favor the idea? Well, there's a reason. Those who value and celebrate the worth of the individual and of individual freedom generally believe that the individual should be permitted to own and bear arms. Those who put the power of government over and above the power of the individual would just as soon see the individual unarmed. Armed individuals are, of course, a threat to tyranny.
Boortz is dead on here. (pun intended)
The socialists (aka democRATS) fear us now, and if they take control of the gubmint 'repealing' the 2nd Amendment is high on their list (That's for 'darn' sure). But getting it passed by all the states required? I don't know about that. However, I sure see them usurping and stripping it at every opportunity, the AWB being their current objective. In the near future any weapon with a magazine capable of holding more that ONE round will be an Assault Weapon. Not to mention the caliber. Heck, we'll likely be limited to using .22 shorts and H&R .410ga shotguns! ( note 1 )
Also, this reminds me of a Senate speech a couple/few years back by Senator Swimmer Kennedy, wherein he said that the 2nd Amendment isn't 'necessary' anymore and it's concept is obsolete. That it's intent was to prevent a tyrannical government and that in these times we have nothing to fear from our government! I saw this speech played on FNC at the time. He was serious and I think sober.
So when thinking about being PO'd at Dubya come Nov. think long and hard and vote for Bush, do it - for the YOUR children.
I AM THE NRA
1; I have nothing personal against Harrington & Richardson single shot, .410 ga shotguns.

Right now the cap is around $88,000 on Social Security taxes. To cover the shortfall Reich says they will just raise the salary cap by $15,000 ... to $103,000 a hear. Reich forgets, though, that there is no cap on Medicare taxes, so raising the cap by $15,000 would not recover the Medicare taxes lost by excluding the first $15,000 in income. In reality the Democrats would have to raise the salary cap by about $19,000. They would just round it off to $20,000. It's not even that simple. Let's say the first $15,000 (or $20,000) is exempt from SS. Raising the $88,000 cap by an exuivalent amount won't cover the lost revenue -- the number of people earning $88,000 or more is far less than the number earning $88,000 or less. It would only be revenue neutral if the cap were less than the average salary.

This is what Democrat Tax Cuts does to Society:
- a)Keeps the Poor, poor
- b)Keeps the Middle Class from succeeding
- c)Keeps the elite Rich, rich.
In other words, it traps the poor to stay poor. It keeps the Middle Class from succeeding and in fact, push them more down the economic ladder than up. As to the Rich, we all know the Rich do not pay taxes that my friends is the ugly little secret. The Democrats have no intentions for the rich to pay their fair share. That my friends, are the facts of life in the socialist world.

Something maybe you didn't know! This is really good information.....we should all hit everyone in our address book; after all, this IS an election year.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1) That participation in the Program would be "completely voluntary";
2) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program;
3) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,
4) That the money the participants put into the independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and;
5) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to "put away," you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent "Trust" fund and put it into the General fund so that Congress could spend it?
&npsp A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically-controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
&npsp A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
&npsp A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U.S.
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
&npsp A: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive SSI Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Then, after doing all this lying and thieving and violation of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the "Republicans want to take your Social Security away!"
And the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens, whose total grasp of world events is derived from sound bites and captions-under-the-pictures, above the fold, believe it!
Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during this 2004 election year! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.
How many people can YOU send this to?
Keep this going clear up through the 2004 election!! We need to be heard!

Ronald Reagan signed this into law in 1983 I think.
