We need to *perfectly* understand a few basic terms here before we go into any hypotheticals ...

Unfortunately our enemies are under no such restriction. One does not need to *perfectly* understand a pipe organ to smash it to bits...

Nahhhh, let's make a new Alcatraz - in the Aleutian Islands. Maybe on Rat Island?

No mention of capture, it's really puzzling. V...I think you were the one that pointed out he's not on the most wanted list anymore.

Yes, I was curious as to why he wasn't on the most wanted list. But you're right, there's no word of his capture. Curious, isn't it?

Do you all remember the tree that caused the So. California outage in 1996?

The cause of the August 10th outage causing seperation at the Northern
and Southern Interties was a fire originating within Bonneville Powers
jurisdiction. The cause of the fire was a tree contacting a 500 KV
line and the resultant flashing initiated the fire. Of course, the
lines sag when heavily loaded, sometimes as much as 40 feet lower than
normal. Bonneville Power is located in Oregon.

Seems pretty easy to me to take down the grid. I'm no expert but.....

We're in the middle of it all.  How do we know our enemies?   One of the pilots who flew one of the jets into one of the world trade towers on 9/11 worked at Louie's Pizza in Cape May, others worked in dollar stores and at newspaper stands, others not involved with the terrorists were dancing in the street on 9.11 in Paterson. In addition, we now have to look out for traditional Christian European Americans converting to Islam and joining the terrorists as we recently saw with Brandon Mayfield of Beaverton, Ore. and that caveman John Walker Lindh of Marin County,California- a wealthy enclave in wine country. I can't remember how he was involved with the killing of CIA agent Johnny "Mike" Spann, but I do know he probably could have prevented it.

The latest news I could find on this bus incident, take a look at what this says the ingredients are (???)

Thu, May 27, 2004
Bus illness stymies B.C. investigators
By CP

VANCOUVER -- The mystery of what caused riders of a transit bus to become ill has deepened with the discovery that some small brown pellets found on board turned out to be thyme, mud and a pine substance. There were early reports the brown pellets were a form of phosphine -- a fumigant that, in pellet form, releases a toxic gas when it comes in contact with humid air. Phosphine is an industrial pesticide, and can cause nausea, vomiting, bronchitis, shortness of breath, convulsions and death.

A woman on the bus said that as a man was leaving the bus he asked the driver how his day was going.

The driver said it was fine and the witness said the man then replied it wouldn't be for long.

We've got quite a menu going here, what can we make?

LIE? It is NOT related to terrorism, no matter what!

I wonder when the big one hits, who is the poor guy that will have to come out and say it (terrorism)?

are we going to attack the Hydra at it's heart

In my dreams only I'm afraid.

The POS who attacked in Khobar asked the folks to show their identity cards in order to determine their religions.

Who says this isn't a religious war, begun by the islamofascists. They are simply tring to bring the world back to the 12th century and kill everyone who isn't one of them.

I mean heck...listen to all of the massive protests among the American muslims against the terror of their own religion /NOT!

Hey JP! Well, I'm doing ok... I had a car wreck last week on the way to work. Hydroplaned in my Jeep and had quite a thrill ride, hitting 2 construction retaining walls and took a ditch nose-first. Bumps, bruises and sprains, but nothing broken.

I've bitched about it costing me $35 to fill her up, but I will NEVER be without my big SUV, because if I'd been in a car... let's just say it would have been "R.I.P. liberallyconservative."

Burbank's power grid died last year due to a metallic balloon hitting a substation.....the whole city! NBC and Disney Channel and other live feeds went to emergency generators.

Now, if you had a bunch of that balloon material, and shot it out those air cannons they used to shoot toys at basketball games, no telling what you could accomplish
