Elementary school students witness gay marriages
WAVY ^

Northampton, Massachusetts-AP -- A different sort of educational experience for a group of fourth- through sixth-graders in Northampton, Massachusetts.

The students from the Solomon Schechter Day School went to Town Hall today to witness the first day of legal gay and lesbian marriages in Massachusetts.

The students have been studying the civil rights movement. One of their teachers said today's proceedings offered a chance to see a bit of history in the making.

Among those applying for their marriage licenses were several sets of parents from the school.

The kids cheered as couples emerged from City Hall with their documents in hand.

These teachers are screwy.

The inauguration of a President is history.

This is trivial.

Cheered? Back when I was that age we would've laughed and otherwise made fun of the whole proceedings (along with being grossed-out). Well, let's face it, back then we never would've been taken there in the first place. ....And if we had been our parents would've come down on the school admin like a ton of bricks.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Un-freaking-believable.

Actually, it's expected. What I want to know is this school a public school or a private school?

If it's a public school, will anyone (a) rip their kids out today, and/or (b) file some lawsuits?

Let me know if anyone want on/off this pinglist.

"I used to pretty much over-look this lifestyle..."

Yup, me too. So did most everyone else. That's why it has come to this. When we were free to speak up, we didn't. Now this "lifestyle" is sanctioned by the government and protected by law. It's going to take a huge majority of people to loudly speak out against it. I'm not sure we have the guts. We don't want to offend anyone don'tcha know. Shoot, we have been told not to wave our flag at the Olympics so as not to offend the rest of the world with our patriotism. A sad state of affairs. *frown*

"Pefect example of why I will never live north of the Mason Dixon line."

Now, now, don't put ANYONE automatically in the same backside as the Massholes, just because we're in the north:) Think of Mass as an island of nitwits.

Massachusetts has been on my "could NEVER live there" list for a long long time ... there are good people in Boston, there are good people in Seattle, there are good people in most of California ... but when I see things like this I tell my small children why I would never live there.

These teachers are truly revolting. No doubt they were the first ones clapping when Tom and Dick said "I do," thus causing the 5th graders to immitate the teachers, and Im sure the media presents it as if the kids clapped on their own.

It seems that the more liberal you are ... the less informed you are and once you accept the liberal lag lines you loose your ability to process information in a rational way ...

Mission accomplished. Indoctrination complete.

Indeed. The Queering of Elementary Education has been a huge success. Now that queer marriage has come to the U.S., look for the queering of elementary education to accelerate.

Where are the parents of these kids?

Yesterday a little girl (10 or 11) called into the Howie Carr Show to argue for gay marriage. Howie assumed she was the victim of public school indoctrination, but I would bet she was being prompted by lesbian parents. Just a hunch.

Just wait until you see next year's Massachusetts middle school Sex Ed curriculum.

Anal sex will have to be dealt with on an equal footing with normal heterosexual sex. The ACLU and the NEA will demand it.

"Well little Billy, the answer to your question is that you don't really know for sure if you're gay, straight or bisexual until you have tried gay sex. Just be sure to use a quality lubricant, or you could hurt your 'special friend' Michael. And remember to take your time; it only hurts at first. I've got some really nice lubricant samples here for you to try. Sally, pass this basket of lubricant tubes areound the class."

Disgusting you say?

Yes, very. But this is our future, if we don't fight this and fight it hard, NOW.
