If anybody knows of a group or organisation that would be willing to assist in pushing a coordinated boycott of the mainstream media, please let me know. I can be contacted at DocFarmer9999@yahoo.co.uk. Many thanks.

I've been boycotting for years now, ever since I got FoxNews and the internet.

Well, that's three boycotters so far. Now, if only I can get about 40 million more. I'd better get some stamps...

Perhaps it is time to look at a serious boycott of the major news outlets in the United States: ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, CNN, MSNBC, the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, et al. The news organizations, and their sponsors.

Guess I'm out. I don't read or watch any of these. I don't even visit their websites. They are not my sources of news.

I never, ever watch ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC. I only watch FOX and read online. I've ruined too many TV's and perfectly good pairs of shoes listening to those baffoons...or is it baffooni?

::Sigh:: I finally got myself to watch the video...and it took a lot out of me. However, having had not seen the video before all the conspiracy chat was abound, I can honestly say there is something fishy about it.

First off - and I had to go through some very disturbing websites to find it... - the biggest thing I noticed was that the picture kept skipping, which if my limitied knowledge of video serves me means that there were stops and starts in the shooting, and that speech was not read in one piece. What that means, I couldn't say.

But there were other things, and it may have just been the video I saw but the sound was out of synch (esp. noticeable when the scum jump him and pin him to the ground) and yes, their skin is a bit to white for my liking, and there was little to no blood during or after the beheading.

This could mean that they had bled him beforehand (for some disgusting torture-related reason, no doubt) or that this someone wasn't real.

Listen, that was gross, and I never want to see it again, but I felt I had to, as I think many would agree. Of course, regardless of all this we still cannot trust the media to prioritze their news stories by importance - they've got ratings-needs and political agendas that prevent this.

Personally, I think you all should view the video and judge for yourselves...

C.O'D.

Yeah, I guess the decapitated body found under a bridge in bagdad was "fishy" too.

Maybe if the boycott got some legs, it could be extended to all major newspapers....

Do you happen to know any groups who would assist in a coordinated boycott?

Not off hand.... maybe people at Newsmax.com ?? worldnetdaily? I know there are some others I can't think of right now.....Or maybe just grassroots from freepers, ie if some of the more active freepers in the big cities started sending emails to everyone on their email list, and the emails spread around the country it would help. Maybe setting a time frame for the boycott ie canceling papers for the month of June or July....

Ditto. Not since the early eighties.
