Sink The Pink!!!
Please join with us in staging a counterprotest against the "Commie Mommies" and their "Halt The Assault" road show of lies.
On Friday, July 16th, the Million Moms will be sending their propaganda machine back into Trenton, New Jersey where they started. The NJCSD needs your help to be there to "welcome" them.
Please help us send them the message that our rights are not negotiable.
For more information, please contact our coordinator for more details on how to help us Sink The Pink, or log onto our bulletin board to discuss strategy!

CAN THE BAN!!!!
Where is the link to their schedule?
Judging from the attendance at the last DC rally, instead of calling them "Million Moms" we should, instead, use the more numerically accurate "Hundred Harridans".
Or "Dozens of Dingbats."

Here's a piece of good news: It's entirely possible, even probable, that within a couple of months, you can buy an Uzi, a Colt AR-15 gas-operated magazine-fed machine gun or your very own Kalashnikov rifle, also known as an AK-47. By next Mother's Day, you can even buy one for Mom.
Aside from the fact that the AR-15 is NOT a "machine gun," but a mere semi-automatic (and the Colt version is an overpriced one, at that), and the fact that the AK-47 IS a machine gun and will not be any more available after the AWB dies than it is now, I must agree with her sentiments. I don't know if my Mom or SWMBO really want an AK-47 for Mother's Day, but I'll sure ask because it sure sounds like a gift that the whole family can enjoy.
I'd like to point out one small little fact that this blissninnie missed: Anyone who's not a criminal, drug addict, mental case, etc. (i.e. about 98% of the populace) can ALREADY buy an Uzi, AR-15 or AK-47 (in semi-auto only). What she doesn't know (or won't admit to knowing) is that the AWB didn't ban anything except new production of these named guns and similar ones with certain "evil" cosmetic features. ALL of the ones manufactured prior to 9/13/94 are still legal to own (except in the PRNJ and other fascist-occupied states) - i.e. the AWB didn't take them "off the street." All it did was to make the pre-bans more expensive; come 9/14/04, when the artificial government-imposed supply embargo ends, the free market will reduce the price of most of these used guns.
The assault weapons ban, a major piece of sensible gun legislation, which took so much hard work and effort to pass 10 years ago, expires in 54 days, and Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has promised the National Rifle Association (a tremendous contributor to political candidates who block sensible gun laws) to keep it from being renewed.
Let's see, 54 days from April 24, 2004 is somewhere around June 17. Either she knows something that I don't about an early expiration of the AWB, or she's as fact-challenged regarding mathematics as she is about guns (I vote for the latter). Oh, and the AWB is not "a major piece of sensible gun legislation;" I would characterize it as "a major piece of crap that shiites all over the Constitution." As for "sensible gun laws," the only ones that I know of are Jeff Cooper's 4 Rules. The rest are unconstitutional, stupid or both (mostly the latter), so blocking newer and more odious versions of them is an unmitigated good thing.
He can do it, too, simply by not allowing the bill to come up for a vote, which he's vowed to do. Now there's something to boast about.
Praise Heaven, this imbecilic hoplophobe actually got one right. Since this is the only thing that she appears to have gotten correct in her whole article, I think that I'll stop commenting now (that, and something about keeping my breakfast down).
Follow the commie mommies along their route with a few hundred of these...
...you can probably get $15 (for the T-Shirt, not the 2nd Amendment activist!) and they would never get the joke.
I'm not an AC/DC fan...but it would go a long way to irritate the heck out of these people if that song (on the "repeat" mode on someone's cd player) was played really loud everywhere they stop to rally.
Sink The Pink!!! Can the Ban!!!
I regret VERY MUCH that I won't be able to attend the SATX rally. For some reason, my wife insists that we have a more important thing to do on June 7. I don't know why something scheduled for 2 or 3 days after the rally would interrupt my attendance at such an important event - heck, I'm not delivering the baby, that's why we're paying the doctor!
I'm a NJ refugee and proud resident of SATX, FA (that's Free America, for those of you who haven't seen Red Dawn). I didn't leave NJ just because of the gun issue, but I'll never move back there for exactly that reason. Besides, if I go back there with all of my stuff*, I'll get a taxpayer-paid 1,000 year vacation in Rahway State Prison.
*Dozens of normal capacity mags at 5 years per, plus hundreds of hollowpoints and some AP
Oh well, it'll just be a little extra work, I guess.
They're being awfully mysterious with that pretty pink hate machine of theirs. How are their own people supposed to find them?
LOL!
Coleus, I will be there on July 16. Let's try to get the troops out for this. A little more important than a concert at Six Adventures.
Plan on this one if you can, Tri-Staters.
Crossposted to GT- GNG to alert the Texas GTers.
Go Gettum!!!!
Closest lie-fest to me is St Louie... Very doubtful.
If they should happen to stray closer, welllll.
CAN THE BAN!!!!!
Anyone know what the mommie-meddlers are up to in Raleigh this weekend?

The Million Mom March on Mother's Day drew fewer than 3,000 women to the West Lawn of the CapitoI. It was quite a drop from four years ago, when the happening pulled in several hundred thousand soccer-mom types.
The movement was built on a weak foundation by Donna Dees-Thomases, who presented herself as a typical New Jersey housewife who was concerned about gun violence on television. We were surprised to learn that she was the not-so-typical sister-in-law of Susan Thomases, a long-time pal of Hillary Clinton.
It turns out that Hillary didn't make it this year either. Probably too busy spending Mother's Day helping a village raise a family.

"Handful o' Harpies"
Mass, New York and Connecticut have a joint venture for Boston and NYC. We haven't thought about Maine and New Hampshire, we don't have coords in either state, but if someone wants to step up to the plate...
You can find out where they are planning rallies in each location by e-mailing the local chapter, or you can call the respective city hall to find out when the rally permits were pulled for. We are currently doing this in MA and NY. So far, we haven't come up with anything...
Well, so much for organized. LOL they can't manage to stay single issue, how do they expect to manage actually pulling something as complex as a National Tour together!!!
That song Sink the Pink is going to be running through my head all night.
You think with that many chapters that they wouldn't cancel a rally in Lansing back in 2001....when the CPL issue was in full swing.

The Commie Mommies and the Pinko's will be here JUNE 6th - 10th
Heck J.G., in my neck of the woods Commie Mommies and Pinkos are around 24/7, 365 days a year.
I can vouch that the vast majority of them are certifiably nuts and demonstrate some not-very-mommy-like behaviors. A bar of soap would come in handy at a freep, both for the smell and the foul language.
or milli morons!
if you want to find the march look in the public records for a parade permit. And look for the TV cameras who will surely know when the photo op will take place.
We do have several moles in the MMM's, but they (the MMM's) keep changing their plans. Their Pepto Bismol bus is apparently being driven by 2 nutty guys, btw.
SAS is watching this carefully, and plan to be there if, and when they show up. I'm beginning to think that they won't make it this far as they haven't been able to muster many folks to come out for them. Money is also tight from the sounds of it.
Keep in touch by freep mail--and we'll let you know if we hear anything
Dear Peaceable Texan:
Those of you who wish to attempt to take some of the news coverage away
from the anti-gunners at MMM's media event(s) in San Antonio this week,
please contact Don Hardy, who has graciously agreed to help coordinate
pro-rights people. His contact information is:
ShootinD@aol.com
home phone: 210 829-1351
cell phone: 210 367-6825
Send him an email to receive the latest information.
The state Republican Party convention will also be underway in San Antonio
at the same time.
It is our understanding that the gun-banners' primary media event will be
a press conference at the HemisFair Park at the base of Tower of the
Americas on June 4th at 10:30 a.m. They will begin to arrive at 10 a.m.
Thanks in advance to all those who show up to give voice to the pro-rights
side of this basic human rights issue. Please send me reports on how it
all went down afterward, as I will not be able to attend myself, but I
would like to hear what transpires.
Best Regards,
Paul Velte

The New Jersey Second Amendment Sisters are holding a rally in Trenton to support the sunset of Bill Clinton`s 1994 Semi-Auto ban. It is intended to counter a Million Mom March demonstration supporting the renewal and expansion of the ban. The Million Moms are promoting their anti-gun agenda in Trenton, New Jersey as part of a nationwide bus tour, even though sunset of the federal ban will not affect New Jersey`s statewide ban on many semi-automatic firearms.
The rally is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16 on the State House steps, located on West State Street in Trenton. The rally will last for approximately one hour. A broad coalition of New Jersey pro-Second Amendment organizations will be participating, and several Second Amendment leaders are scheduled to speak. See www.njleg.state.nj.us/legislativepub/directions.asp for directions. For more information, e-mail TheFramer@outdrs.net or call 908-879-9089.
