"I'm almost to the point where I'd rather say I'm a piano player in a Whore House than to admit that I'm in the media."
O.K. We're all waiting. :)

Nice try. No crime was committed here. He was the victim of blackmail. And there is no outrage for those that like to blast Rush for those who go free from blackmail.
So you are no better than the libs who continue to promote legal accusations without any evidence. Thanks, we need that here.
How is that?

Um...Karl Marx died in 1883.
Oops sorry I missed that it was covered there.
Thanks!
I always read these when I'm feeling a little down.

That works too. You just won't let anybody encite you into an argument. Will you? :)
No, I won't - actually I wasn't aware of the blackmail story cause I'm not a Rush fan, but if thats true, then he is innocent!
"No, I won't - actually I wasn't aware of the blackmail story cause I'm not a Rush fan, but if thats true, then he is innocent!"
I found out about it when Roy Black was on Hannity & Colms. The maid that worked for him approached him and blackmailed him for a while. When he asked advisors what he should do, they told him that if he went to the FBI, he'd be frontpage news. And sure enough, he was when he finally went.
Surprisingly, he put up with the blackmail for a while. I'm assuming his wife, Marta, didn't know this was going on and he wanted to keep it a secret. He did try a couple of times to check himself into clinics for a couple of weeks to break the addiction to no avail.
Then, when the kimche hit the fan, the maid and formerly felony convicted spouse ran to the DA, which gave them immunity in the whole thing. So, those that blackmail, can't even be prosecuted. Talk about a miscarriage of justice. Then, they raided Rush's doctors office and took his records. There's a major privacy violation without so much as a court order.
As of now, there have not been, nor have there ever been any charges of any kind filed against Rush Limbaugh for anything. It might also help you to know that doctor shopping has never been prosecuted in Palm Beach County or in the State of Florida.
We know it exists, but the State of Florida hasn't foun it important enough to prosecute in its history. So, now you know the whole truth. Or at least a fair amount of it that I can give you.
I've had enough experience with painkillers that I know how much self discipline it takes not to become addicted. Sounds like a doctor problem rather than a crime to me.

Yeah too bad he didn't commit a crime. (The Doctor Shopping claim.)
If the DA had something on him they'd have prosecuted him a LONG time ago.
And you obviously don't know very much about what Marx actually wrote (it was a bunch of economic theory, much of it BS, but no call to mass murder).
Marx did not advocate mass murder. If you disagree with this assertion, show me where I'm wrong.
"Marx did not advocate mass murder. If you disagree with this assertion, show me where I'm wrong."
I never said marx specifically either. The arguement you started with was about Communism as a whole. That you've narrowed it down to Marx specifically becasue of a misstep I made in mixing up marx and Lenin isn't the issue here.
Communism, no matter how you look at it is despotic, a failed economic idea and doen't present the workers utopia that marx, Lenin, Trotsky et. al. tried tos ell it as.

Although I don't agree with all the items listed, it certainly is thought provoking.
To those who see Genesis as a factual account this is no problem, they simply deny that dinosaurs ever existed...
I saw some of these religious classes on cable that set out to refute the whole dinosaur thing as a hoax. They claimed they had proof. I never saw the next days program. I work for a living.
I have watched some of these programs and have found them to be circular reasoning, in the end they come back to saying it is true because it is in the Bible. I simply am unable to see how anyone can read Genesis and say that it is meant as a documentary of reality. I see it solely as one people's attempt to explain their own creation in a way that could be understood at the time. I don't believe that my seeing it in this way is in any way an attack on God.
As far as proving that Dinosaur bones are a hoax, I put that in the same category as the recurring claims to have discovered Noah's ark, the Christian religion is not well served in the long run by this type of pseudo-science.
By the way, I work for a living too, and I am thankful for every one who is still willing to do so. I think the world would be a lot better if we still honored hard work the way we used to instead of setting up tax disincentives and glorifying those who find a way to live off the hard work of others.

Not entirely true. When Marx stated in Das Kapital "the end justifies the means", what do you believe he was saying? I hold Marx to be guilty of all the human lives taken by his followers, who took the words literally, even as he himself intended. He is as guilty as a mob "Don" is when "suggesting" that some problematic person "disappear"...

who is gone?
Harbinger of what, pray? Would you like to try again AFTER you have unscrambled yourself?
Actually that advice comes from Machiavelli in his book "The Prince", written some 300 years before Marx's time. "Das Kapital" ("Capital") is Marx's turgid writings on economic theory.

He posted drivel and got zapped.
Sorry about being AWOL from FR, had to help resurrect a machine on the network.
Why is it this, although written in 1988, sounds like it was written today, but when a Democrat speaks, you wonder what he's looking at.
Probably cause the Libs haven't changed their playbook since Rush originally wrote them! LOL!
Rush wasn't on today, or any day this week.
This is an old thread that someone responded to.
I know Rush wasn't on this week.
I had forgotten about it until it popped up in my new messages today.
So the Lombardi and Lambeau-era Green Bay Packers were chopped liver?
Rush, you're WRONG!
