Nice try. No crime was committed here. He was the victim of blackmail. And there is no outrage for those that like to blast Rush for those who go free from blackmail.

So you are no better than the libs who continue to promote legal accusations without any evidence. Thanks, we need that here.

Logical converse of "15. If you did not>commit a crime, you are not>guilty."

How is that?

And if I remember correctly...even Karl Marx got his hands dirty in the Bolschlevik Revolution in 1917.

Um...Karl Marx died in 1883.

"No, I won't - actually I wasn't aware of the blackmail story cause I'm not a Rush fan, but if thats true, then he is innocent!"

I found out about it when Roy Black was on Hannity & Colms. The maid that worked for him approached him and blackmailed him for a while. When he asked advisors what he should do, they told him that if he went to the FBI, he'd be frontpage news. And sure enough, he was when he finally went.

Surprisingly, he put up with the blackmail for a while. I'm assuming his wife, Marta, didn't know this was going on and he wanted to keep it a secret. He did try a couple of times to check himself into clinics for a couple of weeks to break the addiction to no avail.

Then, when the kimche hit the fan, the maid and formerly felony convicted spouse ran to the DA, which gave them immunity in the whole thing. So, those that blackmail, can't even be prosecuted. Talk about a miscarriage of justice. Then, they raided Rush's doctors office and took his records. There's a major privacy violation without so much as a court order.

As of now, there have not been, nor have there ever been any charges of any kind filed against Rush Limbaugh for anything. It might also help you to know that doctor shopping has never been prosecuted in Palm Beach County or in the State of Florida.

We know it exists, but the State of Florida hasn't foun it important enough to prosecute in its history. So, now you know the whole truth. Or at least a fair amount of it that I can give you.

Thanks for the info.

I've had enough experience with painkillers that I know how much self discipline it takes not to become addicted. Sounds like a doctor problem rather than a crime to me.

Yeah too bad he didn't commit a crime. (The Doctor Shopping claim.)

If the DA had something on him they'd have prosecuted him a LONG time ago.

When did I say Stalin wasn't responsible for mass murder?

And you obviously don't know very much about what Marx actually wrote (it was a bunch of economic theory, much of it BS, but no call to mass murder).

Marx did not advocate mass murder. If you disagree with this assertion, show me where I'm wrong.

"Marx did not advocate mass murder. If you disagree with this assertion, show me where I'm wrong."

I never said marx specifically either. The arguement you started with was about Communism as a whole. That you've narrowed it down to Marx specifically becasue of a misstep I made in mixing up marx and Lenin isn't the issue here.

Communism, no matter how you look at it is despotic, a failed economic idea and doen't present the workers utopia that marx, Lenin, Trotsky et. al. tried tos ell it as.

No disrespect intended, but if your going to post the updated 35 UTOL, you might want to get it correct:

From Rush's newsletter:

1. There is a distinct singular American culture - rugged individualism and self-reliance - which made America great.
2. The vast majority of the rich in this country did not inherit their wealth; they earned it. They are the country's achievers, producers, and job creators.
3. No nation has ever taxed itself into prosperity.
4. Evidence refutes liberalism.
5. There is no such thing as a New Democrat.
6. The Earth's eco-system is not fragile.
7. Character matters; leadership decends from character.
8. The most beautiful thing about a tree is what you do with it after you cut it down.
9. Ronald Reagan was the greatest president of the twentieth century.
10. The 1980's was not a decade of greed but a decade of prosperity; it was the longest period of peacetime growth in American history.
11. Abstinence prevents sexually transmitted disease and pregnancy – every time it's tried.
12. Condoms only work during the school year.
13. Poverty is not the root cause of crime.
14. There's a simple way to solve the crime problem: obey the law; punish those who do not.
15. If you commit a crime, you are guilty.
16. Women should not be allowed on juries where the accused is a stud.
17. The way to improve our schools is not more money, but the reintroduction of moral and spiritual values, as well as the four "R's": reading, 'riting, 'rithmatic, and Rush.
18. I am not arrogant.
19. My first 35 Undeniable Truths are still undeniably true.
20. There is a God.
21. There is something wrong when critics say the problem with America is too much religion.
22. Morality is not defined by individual choice.
23. The only way liberals win national elections is by pretending they're not liberals.
24. Feminism was established as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society.
25. Follow the money. When somebody says, " It's not the money," it's always the money.
26. Liberals attempt through judicial activism what they cannot win at the ballot box.
27. Using federal dollars as a measure, our cities have not been neglected, but poisoned with welfare dependency funds.
28. Progress is not striving for economic justice or fairness, but economic growth.
29. Liberals measure compassion by how many people are given welfare. Conservatives measure compassion by how many people no longer need it.
30. Compassion is no substitute for justice.
31. The culture war is between the winners and those who think they're losers who want to become winners.
32. The losers think the only way they can become winners is by banding together all the losers and then empowering a leader of the losers to make things right for them.
33. The Los Angeles riots were not caused by the Rodney King verdict. The Los Angeles riots were caused by rioters.
34. You could afford your house without your government - if it weren't for your government.
35. Words mean things.

My personal favorites are #3, #8, #9, #23, #24, #29 & #33.

Sorry, but you're missing the point. Marx & Engels' "Communist Manifesto" was an explicit call to arms addressed to the "workers" of "the world." It was a call for revolution against existing governments, the very definition of which implies the use of violence. Further, it was an *illicit* call for revolution, unlike our own in 1776. I'll explain:
The American Revolution was undertaken to reassert ancient rights--the ancient rights of Englishmen won at Runnymede in 1215, and codified in the *Magna Carta*. It was a movement to *reassert* rights that had been abrogated by the Crown's actions.
Marx & Co.'s call to revolution, on the other hand, presumed a complete and total destruction of the existing social mores & norms; a thorough wiping-away of the ancient traditions and understandings of what it meant to be "free." It's ultimate goal was not to *reclaim* freedoms lost, but to *impose* a whole new social order with a new definition of morality--secular, atheistic, and communistic. It was from the clang of this overheated and silly rhetoric that the horrors of the Lenin/Stalin/Mao reign of terror on the world sprang--the "Dictatorship of the Proletariat" that Marx was always babbling about turned out to simply be a "Dictatorship of the Dictators," and a bloody crew they were, at that.
Marx was the ideological "Godfather," so to speak, of that cruel, murderous trio--and bears some complicity in the crimes committed by them in his name.
[EOM].

To those who see Genesis as a factual account this is no problem, they simply deny that dinosaurs ever existed...

I saw some of these religious classes on cable that set out to refute the whole dinosaur thing as a hoax. They claimed they had proof. I never saw the next days program. I work for a living.

I have watched some of these programs and have found them to be circular reasoning, in the end they come back to saying it is true because it is in the Bible. I simply am unable to see how anyone can read Genesis and say that it is meant as a documentary of reality. I see it solely as one people's attempt to explain their own creation in a way that could be understood at the time. I don't believe that my seeing it in this way is in any way an attack on God.
As far as proving that Dinosaur bones are a hoax, I put that in the same category as the recurring claims to have discovered Noah's ark, the Christian religion is not well served in the long run by this type of pseudo-science.
By the way, I work for a living too, and I am thankful for every one who is still willing to do so. I think the world would be a lot better if we still honored hard work the way we used to instead of setting up tax disincentives and glorifying those who find a way to live off the hard work of others.

As far as the Genesis story goes, there is a story called Enuma Elish. It is the Phoenician story of creation. It was written long before Genesis.

Karl Marx never carried out a genocide, never gave orders for one, nor even suggested one...Das Kapital "the end justifies the means", what do you believe he was saying? I hold Marx to be guilty of all the human lives taken by his followers, who took the words literally, even as he himself intended. He is as guilty as a mob "Don" is when "suggesting" that some problematic person "disappear"...

"the end justifies the means",

Actually that advice comes from Machiavelli in his book "The Prince", written some 300 years before Marx's time. "Das Kapital" ("Capital") is Marx's turgid writings on economic theory.
