OBTW, the new conservative republic would need a capitol, and appropriately it should go in the most miserable place possible, to insure lawmakers want to minimize their time there(and thus minimize their sessions.) So I nominate that the capitol be located either in Houston and only allowed to meet in summer, or Cheyenne and only allowed to meet in the dead of winter.
Appealing idea. I like it. But then, in my opinion, Washington DC in the summer is one of the most miserable places in the country and it doesn't seem to deter them.
And then only when the meet OUTSIDE, WITHOUT A TENT or FIRE.
Nope. Lambert, Montana. The weather is as bad as North Dakota, the prairie provides the scenery, and there are few of the customary diversions. The big lunch spot is the local bar and grille. Winter sessions, of course.
