Skip to comments.O'Reilly read - and edited! - my e-mail tonight

Blast you, O'Reilly...you talk the talk, but don't walk the walk when you finally score one of your "targets".......you had a great little elitist smilefest with Bob Kerrey, but failed to hammer him.
Your critics are right - you're starstruck, and just as much a member of the 'Establishment' you pretend to deride. Hell, you apparently just couldn't remember how to pronounce the name "Gorelick", eh, so you just cruised through your lovefest?
Time to cash in the chips, Bill.

Bill really took the real flack to heart - not!
I gave up on OReilly a few weeks back when he called for Rumsfeld to resign.
I think your comments were pithy without any edits, even if BIll and crew didn't :)
Nice work, Ern!
You're a better person than I. I gave up on O'Reilly months and months ago. I can't stand blowhards and Narcissists.
A little too long for Bill to use directly. And almost surely, he never saw your original email.
I don't think any email with a sentence beginning "Hell,..." is going to go unedited on any channel.
I gave up o'blather so long ago that I PRAY that you will soon be able to say the same. He's beyond disgusting. I'd sooner change kitty litter than listen to that egotist-extraordinaire.
Your comments were spot on, but slightly longer that what he usually reads on the air. I probably would've ended it after this sentence: "Your critics are right - you're starstruck, and just as much a member of the 'Establishment' you pretend to deride."
Is O'Really still on the air?
I'd have thought that O'Reilly, or his staff, might have at least accepted the Gorelick comment as said zinger, but apparently not.
Can't show up the star, after all....
It must be pithy, which is O'Reilly speak for "I'll edit it any damn way I want!"
I wondered about that too. He's too smart not to correct himself after a stammer as we all do when realized. He just didn't seem to know. He usually seems to broadcast the volume of his testicles but in this case with Kerrey he was just plain nervous. Politics aside, he had met his intellectual 'challenge' match and the result was just plain ole' talking heads junk.
I was disgusted with O'Reilly calling for Rumsfeld resignation!!! I felt it was an uncalled for comment!
I kept on sending him e-mails that were pissy - then I learned that he wanted pithy
If I didn't have to work today, I'd capture it on my TV card and post it up
Ern, Ern, Ern, doesn't sound like you are going to get one of those "Who's Looking Out For You" signed copies. LOL!!!
Bill O'Reilly is a total ass, but I've gotta hand it to him- he makes me think. I really miss watching his show (no access to it here in Japan).
I'm holding out for the nugget...the doormat! I ain't cheap.
You are 2 years late
A few weeks ago? It took you that long?
...Congratulations on your initial FoX O'REILLY E-Mail Appearance.
...My posted E-Mail years ago was about there definately being an afterlife ahead for us all..
...and an afterlife it definately had.
...So will yours.
total dumb @ss
The quote read was "O'Rielly, Your critics are right - you're starstruck, and just as much a member of the 'Establishment' you pretend to deride."
I ripped him a few years ago for going after the Bush Twins. He edited so much I could hardly tell it was my letter. He just called me a right-winger and moved on.
He talks tough but he not all that smart. I also have to wonder about the capablities of his researchers. They aren't all that bright either.
" I can't stand blowhards and Narcissists."
Good grief....who do you find to vote for?
I quit watching him months ago. He's so full of himself it made me sick! You are so right he IS starstruck. He talks a big talk that is until he gets someone on his show that needs to be hammered, then BOOM! he's putty.
There are many problems with Mr. John F Kerry's crusades. The one that's the most blatant, and the one that I will limit my discussion to, is related to his overt support of antiheroism.
To begin with, John is careless with data, makes all sorts of causal interpretations of things without any real justification, has a way of combining disparate ideas that don't seem to hang together, seems to show a sort of pride in his own biases, gets into all sorts of profligate speculation, and then makes no effort to test out his speculations -- and that's just the short list!
Of course, the essence of lying is in deception, not in words. I say "of course," because I recently informed him that his deputies muster enough force to preach hatred. John said he'd "look further into the matter." Well, not too much further; after all, he will calumniate helpless bimbos because he possesses a hatred that defies all logic and understanding, that cannot be quantified or reasoned away, and that savagely possesses violent, antihumanist wimps with useless and uncontrollable rage.
He's a real bag of gas alright... I lost interest in his shows.
O'Reilly is only on from M*A*S*H Season's 1 through 8, his Uncle Ed passes away, he goes home to Ottuma, Iowa, and helps his lonely Mother and farms.
The Hon. Paul McHale was the only congressman that even approached that high standard.
Unfortunately, we're no longer graced with his presence in the halls of Congress.
Bill O'Reilly is a know-nothing who is right on some issues only by accident. I hate the way he interrupts people while they're answering his questions, even when it may be important information.
His show is eminently missable.
I take it you did not stay at a Holiday Inn last night?
Are we supposed to be crestfallen because of that statement?
Personally, the fact that O'Reilly doesn't consider himself a conservative is cause for celebration on my part.
I'll add him to my list of "conservatives" who shouldn't let the door hit their asses on the way out:
...and, last but not least;
I'd suggest to Brock that he put it where the Sun doesn't shine, but I have a gut feeling that he already has.
Um...I guess I'll be the first to say it..I like O'Reilly, he does the best opinion news show there is. (The proof is in his ratings) If you don't like his interviewing style or politics don't watch. I don't agree with a lot of what he says, but just because he's not a talking head for the Republicans doesn't mean you can't watch him. Also I believe your email was much too long to broadcast complete.
keep it pithy
I don't like his interviewing style and I haven't watched him in over a year. I don't care what his politics are.
I don't know or care what the politics of Brian Lamb, Don Imus or Charlie Rose are, either, but they have a great interviewing style.
I gave up on him a couple of years ago when he said that any income tax rate over 50% was unfair. 50%???
That's so wrong on several levels-- I was just speechless at that statement.
Bill? Is that you?
The best! lol
My complaint about Pres. George W Bush
To respond to all of Pres. George W Bush's opinions would take up too much room and time. I would like to address the most discourteous ones, though.
Wait! Before you dismiss me as sexist, hear me out. Is it just me, or do other people also think that his recourse to obstructionism as a tactical modality for waging low-intensity warfare has been successful?
I ask, because Pres. Bush maliciously defames and damagingly misrepresents everyone and everything around him. There's a word for that: libel.
The first response to this from his cult followers is perhaps that every word that leaves his mouth is teeming with useful information. Wrong.
Just glance at the facts: He has been known to say that mediocrity and normalcy are ideal virtues. That notion is so brassbound, I hardly know where to begin refuting it.
Pres. Bush talks a lot about phallocentrism and how wonderful it is. However, he's never actually defined what it means. How can he argue for something he's never defined? This is not a question that we should run away from. Rather, it is something that needs to be addressed quickly and directly, because he pompously claims that he is always being misrepresented and/or persecuted. That sort of nonsense impresses many people, unfortunately.
This in mind, I would like to test the assumptions that underlie his sermons. Pres. Bush's manuscripts are based on a technique I'm sure you've heard of. It's called "lying".
Let me end by appealing to our collective sense of humanity: Pres. George W Bush's lapdogs lie about their allegations, and then, when we're all convinced that no harm will be done, they conspire with evil.
Disclaimer: The above computer generated complaint does not neccessarily reflect my opinions of President Bush, only to serve as an example of the random complaint generator posted by lowbridge.
O'Reilly is not perfect. Yes, he should have asked Kerrey tougher questions. However, he is the only one of the major reporters going after demented judges, crooked lawyers such as Feldman, those who abuse children, and tackled other issues that others dare not.
Often he is interesting. Unlike many other media people, he is no coward.
lol....yes it is and because you guess i'm sending you a signed copy of my book.
