Iran Air Force Commander: US military build-up in region directed against Islam and Muslims
Commander of Iran's Air Force, Reza Pardis said in Tehran on Tuesday that the main goal of the US military build-up in the Middle East region, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan, is to act against Islam and Muslims.
Public Relations Department at the Air Force quoted Pardis as telling a group of clerics that the US has increased its troop deployment in the Middle East region on the false pretext of promoting democracy, freedom, and campaign against international terrorism.
Pardis said the Muslims all over the world should be aware and vigilant enough to face the all-out aggression of enemies with all might.
According to IRNA, he said that Iranian experts have today been capable of gaining remarkable progress in the field of conventional military arms by relying on their values.
