This "gentleman" should thank his lucky stars that Cretinism isn't a capital offense. He has foolishly ordered up a whole passel of trouble for himself from the Feds. I hope his bank account is big, as the attorneys he is going to have to engage aren't going to come cheap, and will clean him out. Hey Webb, that's karma.

Doesn't anyone in that state have the guts to beat Webb's ass?

We have some excellent Seattle conservative talk show hosts: Kirby Wilbur, John Carlson (silver medalist, 2000 gubernatorial election), Rusty Humphries, Mike Siegel, Michael Medved, Rabbi Daniel Lapin (standin, I think)... for starters.

Though come to think of it, I haven't heard about this from any of them. They ought to get the audio tape and make a big fuss about it.

The same tripe can be heard in San Francisco on KGO from 10 P.M. to 1 A.M., from a Micheal Moore clone. (Mental AND physical)

It gets worse after that.

Well, at least he favors the death penalty for republicans. It's a start. Later on, maybe he'll add to the list Criminals Who Deserve To Die.

Looking at Webb's bio on his personal website (http://www.mikewebb.org/), you can see what kind of moonbat we're dealing with here.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Webb had an early interest in radio. As a teenager, he was a street reporter broadcasting observations of civil rights, anti-war protests and youth issues for San Francisco radio stations KMPX, KQED and KCBS. KMPX was the nation's first "Progressive Rock" station formulated by the legendary Tom Donohue and took a very unapologetic stance of Advocacy Journalism. At age 15, Mike vividly remembers clutching his Sony TC-100 tape recorder while dodging rocks and billy clubs as police and protesters regularly confronted each other on the City's Market Street during the anti-Vietnam War marches.

One of Webb's most memorable and personal on-air experiences was reporting the savage murders of Gay S.F Supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor Moscone by deranged ex-City Supervisor, Dan White. Working at ABC, just blocks away from the City Hall tragedy, Mike climbed to the station's rooftop, giving live reports of a city in great shock and grief. Later, when the guilty verdict rendered just a 5-year sentence for White, outraged citizens took over City Hall, bashed in the doors, overturned police cars and started fires. Webb's audience got a birds-eye "view" as he joined every major TV network on that same Polk Street rooftop reporting all the activity.

Mike continued as a San Francisco air personality, working for legendary stations K-101, KFRC and KSFX.

Coming to Seattle in the 80s, Webb has hosted shows at KPLZ (K-PLUS-FM), KEZX and KZOK. He served as Program Director of KVI from 1984 - 1991 and at KIXI until 1994.

Hosting talk shows since 1996 at KIRO, Webb also finds himself involved in Beltway politics, making occasional trips back to Washington DC. Lobbying for Hate Crimes legislation and Ted Kennedy's Employment Non Discrimination Act (ENDA), has gotten Mike into some interesting situations including a shouting match with Martina Navratalova about whether being Vegetarian or Coming Out is more important. When he's not doing the radio show, Webb produces audio and does voice-over work on documentaries, industrial, internet and commercial work at his studio,mikewebbmedia.com

Favorite Interviews: Attorney Gerry Spence, activists Michael Moore, and Norman Soloman, UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter, "Serving In Silence" author, Grethe Cammermeyer.

Radio Host Who Allegedly Threatened Bush, Rumsfeld Incensed By 'Vicious, Hateful Lying Web Sites'

Man, I'd hate to be on one of those sites. You wouldn't want to make this guy incensed.

Don't people go to jail for making threats against the president? I thought they could even go to jail for encouraging others to harm the president. I guess if your a liberal pundit the rules don't apply.

How come the liberals can publicly issue death threats like this and no consequences?

Because, if liberals don't LIKE a law.....it doesn't really exist.

Follow up bump...an official term for this is "moral relativism". Simply stated, there is no right and wrong, and the reason people prefer this is because once such a person acknowledges that there is right and wrong, he/she is accountable.

It's the same reason that some don't want to believe in God (the true one), because the second they do, they are accountable to Him. That blows out the rationale for their acceptable behaviors:

love of money/people/elites (1st Commandment), foul language, or living nuanced lives while claiming to be His (3rd), taking a day off to worship and rest (4th), honoring parents (5th), murder/abortion/hate, theft, lying/slander, adultery/lust (6th-9th), and coveting (10th), which includes 1-9.

That is a more theological answer to the original question.

Putting panties on the heads of naked terrorists is a war crime, but bombing thousands of innocent Christian civilians to death in the Balkans isn't?

Oh.

This must have been before KVI became a leading Seattle conservative talk show station. (The first, I think.)

It's so frustrating to see the obvious double standard that exists for comments by conservatives and comments by the left.

Hopefully, our story will bring more attention to this craziness.

I think the "Moral Relativism" of the left is a myth they propogate on par with their legendary "compassion for the little guy" and "concern for the well-being of minorities". Moral Relativism would be far preferable to whatever it is liberals are doing. At least with Moral Relativism, conservatives might come out ahead 50% of the time.

I would say that Libs today practice an extreme form of Moral Absolutism, on par with Al-Qaeda or The Spanish Inquisition. Remember James Carville's book: "We're Right They're Wrong". That's the exact opposite of Relativism.

If any libs are reading this, please note that I am not questioning your patriotism.

If that is true, then we have already lost!

There is no way that this can be allowed to stand without consequenses...I don't care if it happened in Seattle, it's just wrong.

The important part is this:

Despite maintaining his innocence by claiming he never called for the death of the president or anyone because he is opposed to the death penalty, the audio copy of Webb's show proves otherwise.

The lying about his own statements.
