This man praised 9/11 planners and terrorists!
Great News!
Ah, here's the answer. It was revoked in 2003. It's waiting for an appeal decision.

Unfortunately the case has to be rock solid for this extradition to go ahead. Once he is in the legal system all sorts of stupidity goes on. If the Judge considers the evidence to be weak he will be released. The evidence from the US has to be solid. I'd love the UK to get rid of him once and for all by extradition, but the legal system can be a complete ass at times. I'm not holding my breath here, but he'll probably be released on bail!
They are searching his house at the moment. I hope they find evidence which will at least give the UK the right to deport him to Yemen.
They wont send him back to Yemen. They will hand him to the FBI authorities.
"They will hand him to the FBI authorities."
I certainly hope they do.
Is he blind, or disabled in any way, like so many of these 'holy' men? If he is, the gullible libs will find it easier to have sympathy for him, especially in court.
He has lost his eye in Afghanistan!
Ha! Is my radar working this morning or what!
He is blind and also lost a hand - both injuries occured in afghanistan i think. The Sun newspaper in the UK calls him the "Evil Hook" because he has a hook instead of a prosthesis. They have been constantly agitating for his expulsion for years and are taking credit for the arrest. See their website for details. http://www.thesun.co.uk/
I like your tagline!
GREAT!
Been wondering when they'd finally get him.
GOOD News, Pong
Good news, I agree. I wonder if they can get through all the legal wrangling and finally deport the man.
Then, Norway should finally get to Krekar. The minister in charge has now said that as soon as sovereignity passes to the Iraqis, Krekar will be expelled. However, I suspect he will fight it in the legal system, potentially for years.
Don't know if I want either just expelled....I'm afraid they'll get away or get let off the hook.
I agree. Hamza should end up in Guantanamo, and Krekar should be sent to the Kurds for a trial. After all, just about all of Krekar's crimes are against the Kurdish people.
That woman comedian still alive?
I meant that if the US extradition fails then there is also the Yemen Government option. Yemen also wants to extradite 'Captain Hook' on terrorism charges, but if it involves the death penalty then the present UK legislation will not allow extradition under those circumstances.
