2 Suspected Al Qaeda Agents Dropped in for Meal, says Denny's Manager (Avon, CO-Heading West..BOLO!)

The FBI office in Denver has received 'numerous' calls about the seven people believed to be associated with Al Qaeda pictured Wednesday in the newspapers.

Samuel Mac, manager of the Denny's in Avon Co., said two men-he subsequently identified from their photographs as Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Abderrauof Jdey-came into his Denny's which is just off Interstate 70, Wednesday about 8PM.

One ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad, the other just a salad, Mac said. They were demanding, rude and obnoxious, he said.

They said they were from Iran and were driving from New York to the West Coast.

Monique Kelso, spokswoman for the Denver FBI office said they had recieved at least a dozen calls about the pictures.

This will probably turn out to be nothing, but I'm glad citizens are being vigilant. The FBI attitude, however, gives one pause:

the FBI has no reason to believe any of the seven are in Colorado or traveling through.

Does the FBI know EXACTLY where those two named terrorists are currently? If they do not know their EXACT whereabouts, well, this possible sighting MIGHT just be a reason to believe the guys are traveling thru Colorado.

You'd think the fact that they received at least a dozen calls and were seen at Denny's would give them some reason to believe. Is it possible the FBI could be this incompetent?

Agreed. Either they are just genuine a-holes or hyped-up on something, getting ready for their 72 virgins.

If I was any serving persion or manager of one of these eateries, I think it would be prudent to isolate their plates, etc. in case the authorities wanted to check out fingerprints. Maybe a quick check would validate or eliminate these guys as potentials.

Possibly this is just tin-foil hat time, but these are dangerous times.

Of course the ACLU would sue, claiming racial profiling.
