Sen. Cornyn Says Kerry's Rhetoric Doesn't "Match Reality." Sen. John Cornyn: "Only John Kerry could say that Iraq should be included in the War on Terror, vote to support the Iraq War Resolution and then boast of being an 'anti-war candidate.' Now he wants to 'internationalize' an effort that already involves NATO nations, the UN and over 30 coalition partners. Kerrys rhetoric on Iraq simply doesnt match reality."
Sen. Chambliss Says Kerry Offered Nothing But "Baseless Rhetoric And Anger." Sen. Saxby Chambliss: "Senator Kerry today argued for steps that are already in process. The fact of the matter is, NATO and the UN are involved in Iraqi reconstruction and training Iraqi forces to provide for their own security. The American people want steady leadership, not John Kerrys baseless rhetoric and anger."
Rep. Hunter Says Kerry Is "For And Against" The President's Plan. Rep. Duncan Hunter: "John Kerry said he voted for the $87 billion funding for our troops in the field before he voted against it. Judging by his speech today, Kerry seems also to be both for and against the President's plan in Iraq. Kerry challenges the President's Iraq policy, but offers no alternatives beyond steps the President is already taking. Kerry says we should work with the UN--and we already are. Kerry says we should involve NATO--and we already have. Kerry says we should train Iraqi security forces--and we're doing that too."
Admiral Morris Says Troops In The Field "Pay The Price" For Kerry's Political Approach To Iraq. Admiral Thomas Morris, USN (Ret.): "Once again, John Kerry decided not to show the world that America is committed to achieving our objectives in Iraq. American voters recognize that Kerry has made the political calculation that he doesn't stand a chance in this race unless he attacks the President on Iraq policy, but the enemies of freedom misinterpret his words and are emboldened by his rhetoric. It's our troops in the field who pay the price while Kerry advances his electoral prospects."
Sen. Santorum Says Kerry's Stance Is "Politically Motivated." Sen. Rick Santorum: "Kerry's stance today on Iraq is as politically motivated as it always was. One of Kerry's top foreign policy advisers, Kerry's brother and Kerry himself have all admitted that he factored his presidential bid into his vote to authorize force in Iraq. Then, in an appeal to the far left of his political base during the Democrat primaries, Kerry voted against funds for the war he had earlier authorized. Kerrys constantly shifting positions should concern the American people."
Commissioner Bernard Kerik Says This Is Another Example Of Kerry Attacking A Policy He Supported. Former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik: "Howard Dean said a lot of crazy things during the Democrat primaries, but he was right on one point: John Kerry has no credibility and has tried to be on both sides of every issue. Kerry's speech on Iraq today wasnt the first time he attacked one of the President's policies that he earlier supported and voted for. When he encountered liberal criticism in the primaries, Kerry also attacked the Patriot Act that is cracking down on terrorists."
Rep. Cantor Says Kerry's Policies Are "Misguided And Dangerous." Rep. Eric Cantor: "America has assembled a strong and substantial coalition of more than 30 nations that are contributing some 25,000 troops to help Iraq including troops from 16 NATO allies. The coalition forces have spent the last year fighting terror in Iraq-instead of in Washington or New York. John Kerry's absurd 'hat-in-hand' foreign policy will never deter terrorists, and his insistence on deferring to other nations for the protection and security America is misguided and dangerous."
In his latest speech (buried by most lib papers deep inside), Kerry says, basically, he'd do the same thing Bush is doing, but "smartly".
I guess that makes Kerry the "Moi aussi" candidate. It means "Me too", but it sounds so much smarter in French.
NO, they couldn't be!!! We hear all of the time that the UN and NATO haven't been in the loop since Bush took office!
The most dangerous thing about Kerry/Gore/Clinton et al is that they do make the enemy feel very bold and our soldiers are put at more risk as are we. They are freaking TRAITORS and that is a simple fact!
The gift that just keeps on giving.

HanoiJohnKerry.com is a blog with a primary purpose. That purpose is to counter the preposterous claims of Sen. John Forbes Kerry (D-MA) that he has any legitimate claim to any sort of "brotherhood" among combat veterans of the War in Vietnam. While it is generally supposed that his service as a Naval officer on a "Swift Boat" in that theater was adequate and honorable, there is much to question regarding his readiness to allow the accolade "war hero" to be applied to him. Likewise, it is not at all uncommon for more senior Naval officers to raise an eyebrow at the swiftness and relative comfort by which Lt. JG Kerry attained those medals, and who is available to vouch for the efficacy of his being awarded them (since, as boat commander, it would be his own task to make recommendation for awards for all personnel, including himself, on the Swift Boat). But most egregious was his conduct, words and associations upon his early-out (from SEA) return to the USA and discharge from the US Navy. His leadership role with the radical pro-Communist (inaccurate to deem this group "anti-war") group called "Vietnam Veterans Against the [Vietnam] War" (hereafter VVAW). |
It was while climbing the social and political ladder of the pro-Soviet Left as a principle of VVAW that John Kerry found his political soul-mate in Hanoi Jane Fonda. Granted, these politically formative years for Kerry were prior to the more outlandish acts of Fonda that earned her that name, but it is easily documentable that Fonda did not under go any radical transformation in belief or character from the time she and Kerry were working the same side of the street to the time she traveled to Hanoi, NVN and entered US history as the most overt traitor to ever NOT be charged, tried and executed. John Kerry went to his own overt extremes to demonstrate that, politically, socially and in lowness of character, there wasn't a nickel's worth of difference between he and Fonda. Thus, in the spirit of fairness and accuracy, we are reasonably certain that he will be agreeably flattered by calling him Hanoi John Kerry. |
Here, testifying before the Fulbright Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is where John Kerry, spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War, cemented his position and moniker as "Hanoi John" Kerry. This was the occasion where US troops still in the field in Vietnam learned from one of their FORMER brothers-in-arms that they were heinous murderers and war criminals. HJK would now like to call on them for support in his bid to be the new Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. Perhaps the most preposterous hypocrisy of all. |
Kerry's inept behavior and crackpot utterances give our enemies hope every time he opens his botoxed mouth. This is why we are facing a possible attack here at home this summer, because they hope it propels a coward into the WH who will cut and run. If there's a dreadful attack here, the families of American victims should sue TerAYsa and her toyboy for every cent she's got and he should be hounded out of the country.
I completely agree....well said!

They said it
Editor, Sun-Gazette:
It is amazing how the facts are unimportant to so many, and how soon they forget!
"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998
"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has 10 times since 1983." Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb 18,1998
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Cal.), Dec. 16, 1998
"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." former Vice President Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), Sept. 27, 2002
"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W. Va.), Oct. 3, 2002
"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force if necessary to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), Oct. 9,2002
"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do" Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Cal.), Oct. 10, 2002
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members.. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), Oct 10, 2002
Now, every one of these people says President Bush lied there never were any weapons of mass destruction and he took us to war unnecessarily.
