She's a lier.
Whoever hit that lady should be ashamed of him- or herself -- and I hope they catch the person. There are far better ways of voicing one's differing opinion. Resorting to physical violence only empowers and elevates the artist and gallery owner. The violence accomplished nothing other than elevating the gallery owner to the status of a martyr. It also increases the value of the art, which is otherwise worthless crap.
TFB. I am no longer tolerant of anti american crap portrayed as art. Those that feel they have a need to show hatred toward the US military should expect a backlash.
Maybe she is pulling a Tawanda Brawley (sp?) to draw sympathy to herself. You never know about liberals.
run-on sentence, sue me
Actually, her dyke lover punched her out for not putting fresh batteries in the ... Honda. But she can get a lot better mileage out of this [pardon the pun] cock-and-bull story.
Yeah. I'll remain skeptical for now. I'm reminded of that teacher who was caught writing "hate words" on her own vehicle.
It is interesting that even if San Francisco, opinion is not as anti-war and anti-soldier as we may be lead to believe.
But -- you don't hit women -- or womyn.
Isn't that a bar in San Fransisco?
My feelings exactly. Does the name Don Adams ring a bell for anyone? These Socialist pukes should expect more of the same.
Gee, looking at that picture I fail to see anyone being fed into a shredder.
How about wimmin?
"This isnt art-politics central here at all," Haigh said. "Im not here to make a stand. I never set out to be a crusader or a political activist."
This is good news for humanity! Without condonning the action but just commenting on the human spirit of pride & preservation of character forcing someones hand. It's not a recommended response, but it sure did leave a mark and get noticed in a city of dingbats.
The intensity of the manhunt for the culprit will also equal the outrage. So lets see what happens if they find the perp.
Maybe the gallery owner should NOT have made a statement by putting this piece of crap in the window, shoving it in everyone's face. This is a BS story, glad her gallery failed and I congratulate the the local residents.
The irony, of course, is that it's only "hate speech" when a liberal's offended. Liberals, of course, can offend anyone they want.
