Re: heresy.

Apostates of Islam say:

"We are ex-Muslims. Some of us were born and raised in Islam and some of us had converted to Islam at some moment in our lives. We were taught never to question the truth of Islam and to believe in Allah and his messenger with blind faith. We were told that Allah would forgive all sins but the sin of disbelief (Quran 4:48 and 4:116). But we committed the ultimate sin of thinking and questioned the belief that was imposed on us and we came to realize that far from being a religion of truth, Islam is a hoax, it is hallucination of a sick mind and nothing but lies and deceits."

"One who claims to be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert, and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claims to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad’s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. He raped the women captured in war after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have sex with their captives and their “right hand possessions” (Quran 33:50) He assassinated those who criticized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. He was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way. Muhammad was a narcissist like Hitler, Saddam or Stalin. He was astute and knew how to manipulate people, but his emotional intelligence was less evolved than that of a 6-year-old child. He simply could not feel the pain of others. He brutally massacred thousands of innocent people and pillaged their wealth. His ambitions were big and as a narcissist he honestly believed he is entitled to do as he pleased and commit all sorts of crimes and his evil deeds are justified."

You're right of course, and it was no sincere apology. My comments were intended to illustrate how pernicious our left and so-called "center" are here. They pose as Americans, and even preen themselves proudly on camera at the national WWII monument -- all the while berating the only restrained effort they've allowed us to make against our enemies.

Check your source books, Amin. Your religion and its founder are physically violent and terrorist. Your tolerant position makes you, probably unwittingly, a MINO.

Muslims Condemn Terrorist Attacks

An interesting list.
I confess that it runs totally contrary to my view of today's Islamic leadership and the groups they represent..soooo, why is that?

Are the leaders of Islam not able to get out the "true message" of Islam? Is Islam really a religion of peace but the true message is suppressed from the masses of infidels? As with all things, I tend to look at what they DO as opposed to what they say so I'll take the first group on the list, CAIR.

Everytime I've observed a spokesman for this group they have enraged me with their preposterous defense of the indefensible. Everytime I've read about this group, with the exception of the first item on your list, it produces the same revulsion. So, what's going on here? Is CAIR really with us in the war against terrorism OR are they just doing a rope-a-dope with an obligatory statement about 9-11? Are they doing the 'ole arafat ploy' (aka, the JF'nKerry ploy) of just preaching to the particular choir at hand OR do they actually represent a way of combating terrorism?

I'll leave it at that for now except to say that Islam has a very negative PR image and the leaders need to actually DO something to improve it, not just say things that sound nice.

Thanks for the list. I will read more of it at a later time.

So, three years later he wants to get a group of Muslim groups to condemn the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon? What about all of al Qaeda's other bombings? What about the Spanish train? What about Hamas attacks on innocent children in Israel? What about the attacks on Australian tourists in Bali? What about hanging American contractors from a bridge in Iraq and beheading Nick Burg?

This doesn't begin to cover it.

I agree. This memorial day, I'm remembering the muslims who fought communism in Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the mideast.

Are you going to remember the Chechen Islamonazis who gas opera houses in Moscow?

The Japanese, who sent their children to enlist in the US armed forces during World War II and went out of their way to show their patriotism -- despite being interred in camps. The American Muslims have been highlighting every perceived slight of Muslims and Islam, in an ongoing attempt to deflect the public focus onto us, the "wrongdoers", and not on the perfidious Muslims who participated in the attacks or supported them.

I still can remember how I felt about American Muslims after 9/11. Despite seeing photographs of celebrating Palestinians passing out candy, I thought that American Muslims would react differently and that the attacks could be the beginning of a pulling-together in the US.

President Bush tried to do this. He pulled together a number of religious leaders at National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. for a solidarity service. The Muslim leader who attended said, in reference to the 9/11 attacks, that "the wrongdoers must be punished." It was William Safire in the NY Times who wrote that this was duplicitously ambiguous, and that he was using the language of the terrorists' apologists, who argued that the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon were to punish the wrongdoers (meaning, us).

Remember moderate Muslims move up a class under Islamic Law. They escape beheading and don't have to pay the extra tax and be treated like a dog. Christians and Jews become little more than house pets.

More evidence that the Muslims are feigning tolerance and Western values. By and large they're here for the money and the beachhead. Until they acknowledge the nature of their religion and culture, which has written into it the sanction of strategic deception - which in effect would be renouncing Islam and its prophet - they simply have no credibility.

Our biggest domestic problem is not them, however. It is the idiotic liberals who swoon at each multicultural pronouncement's assuasion of their white guilt.

Contrast the peace fake by Moslem intelligencia to my recent experience with a Bangladeshi gas station attendant: "Paks bad, Americans good... Don't trust the Muslims, they'll eat your food one day and turn on you the next... I used to be Muslim, but no more... I go to church... I believe in Jesus in my heart". The man saw cultural and spiritual truth and accepted it.

That man I trust. There may be individual Muslims I would trust too, but that would be counter to their nominally or mistakenly held religion.

In my judgment, most Americans strongly believe American Muslims have not forcefully and irrevocably condemned terrorism. This is disturbing because American Muslims and their organizations have strongly condemned terrorism.

Amin M. Lakhani is a liar.

Muslim orgs have strongly claimed victim status, and routinely dissembled as to the reason behind Islamic terror, which is the vile nature of their Koran, written by the butcher Mohammed, who was a master terrorist.

Regardless of the causes, this misconception needs to be addressed immediately because it has erected an invisible barrier toward the full acceptance and advancement of Muslims in America.

This is the reason Lakhani is lying, and the reason he's calling for some sort of pretense that Muslims are genuinely opposed to terror; not because terror is evil, but because the knowledge that Muslims are soft on terror hampers their advancement in America, the goal of which would be the submission of this country to Sharia Law.

By a remarkable coincidence, this is also the goal of the terrorists.

By another remarkable coincidence, Muslims are permitted to lie to non-Muslims:

Sahih Bukhari 5:369

Allah's Apostle (Mohammed) said, "Who is willing to kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf [a poet] who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?" Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?" The Prophet said, "Yes," Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). "The Prophet said, "You may say it." ...

Islam's #1 theologian allowed lying in the interests of islam

Imam Abu Hammid Ghazali said: "Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible." (Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri, The Reliance of the Traveller)

On the battlefield (dealing with non-muslims) outwittings are necessary.

Hadrat Ali said that in the battlefield one could not observe the highest standard of truth as a muslim has been exhorted to do in matters of religion. For example in the battlefield one has to hide facts and outwit the enemy." (Hadith Sahih Muslim, Vol. 2, ft. #1446)

Tauriya or twisting of meanings

"A type of lie which is not a serious sin is tauriya or double-entendre which means using a word, an expression or a phrase, which has an obvious meaning and intending thereby another meaning to which it applies, but which is contrary to the obvious one." (Sahih Muslim Vol. 1, ft. 402, English version)

One need only compare the "5 Pillars of Islam" with the Ten Commandments to see how different Muslim societies are from Western societies.
The Five Pillars of Islam (condensed):
-belief in God and Muhammed
-charity
-prayer
-fasting
-Mecca pilgrimage

What? Nothing about not killing? Nothing about not stealing, not lying, not being jealous? The only pillar that has anything to do with being good to other people is the one on charity.
Their society is based on their religion. Their very being and sense of identity is based on it. Yet you can see their their whole idea of what it means to be a "good" person differs radically from ours.

Your comment brings up an interesting point that I keep hearing from the left. In fact I had someone make the comment to me the other day that Christians have killed more than Muslims. I asked them to give me specifics but of course, they couldn't cite any.

...the first individual listed on that site, Shaykh Yusuf al Qaradawi...

It's also instructive to note that Qaradawi's anti-Semitic, anti-American rant was broadcast over the Doha Qatar Television Service in Arabic.

By a remarkable coincidence, Doha Qatar is the official television station of our alleged "ally" in the War on Terror, the Wahabbi State of Qatar, which was funding the families of genocidal homicide bombers as recently as 2002.

By another remarkable coincidence, Saddam Hussein and Saudi Arabia also subsidized the families of 72-virgin-seeking, Muslim murderers of Jews.

Good point. You're right.

If the American Muslims saw unity in the war on terror, and constructive criticism instead of hypercritical backbiting, they might have a chance to respond in a manner that made sense. I think sometimes they look around at our disunity and seriously wonder if they should be breaking out the burkas.

Muslims call for plan to fight terrorism
By Robert Jablon
ASSOCIATED PRESS
12:18 a.m. May 29, 2004

LOS ANGELES – Muslims were urged to root out terrorists in their own community and to bar extremists from their mosques in the wake of reports that a U.S. attack is being planned.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council urged the faithful to work with law enforcement and to emphasize in religious training that Islam is opposed to terrorism. Fliers with the photographs of seven people being sought by federal officials for alleged terrorist links will be sent to mosques around the country, the group said.

The council also sent a letter to Attorney General John Ashcroft requesting a meeting with Muslim leaders.

The five-point plan was put forward because of the warning by the Justice Department that there were credible intelligence reports pointing to a possible terror attack in the United States this summer, said Maher Mathout, senior adviser to the Muslim Public Affairs Council.

"We are in complete partnership with good people to protect America," Mathout said as he explained the plan to hundreds of Friday worshippers at a downtown mosque.

Muslims have the right to express their opposition to U.S. policies but they are being painted by some conservative commentators as refusing to speak out against violent extremists, council officials said.

"We have so much at stake ... protecting our faith and our country," he said. "God forbid something terrible happens in America, the No. 1 losers will be the Muslims."

Citing the Koran, Mathout said terrorism is against the spirit and law of Islam, which holds human life as sacred.

Muslim leaders in America have been working with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies since the 9/11 attacks to counter terrorism but the effort has received little media attention, Mathout said.

But Southern California's Muslim community has been under increasing scrutiny since the Justice Department announced that one of the seven people mentioned in "be on the lookout" bulletins is a convert who once worshipped in Garden Grove.

Adam Yahiye Gadahn, 25, grew up on a Riverside goat farm. Believed to be living out of the country, he is suspected of attending an al-Qaeda training camp and working as a translator for the terror group, although the FBI said there is no evidence of his connection to any specific terrorist activities. He worshipped at the Islamic Society of Orange County in 1997 but was expelled him for attacking one of its leaders.

At a news conference, Mathout said that while Islam has its share of hate-mongers, as do other religions, he didn't feel that local mosques had a problem with people preaching intolerance or violence.

"If we know (about) them, we will kick them out," he said. "The mosques are very peaceful arenas. We just want to keep them this way."

The council's campaign says the Muslim community should give law enforcement information on terrorist suspects and emphasize that "terrorism is not a valid means of struggle in Islam." It also urges "know who's meeting in your mosque" and urges mosque leaders to make sure to authorize all lectures or talks there. In addition, law enforcement agencies should train Muslims to identify potential terrorists and mosques should increase their communication so they can work together in combatting terrorism.

FBI Director Robert Mueller will be meeting with Muslim leaders "in the very near future" to discuss the plan, said Steven Gomez, assistant special agent in charge of counterterrorism at the Los Angeles FBI office.

John Miller, head of the Los Angeles Police Department's counterterrorism bureau, praised the plan as "a bold step" and said he believes the best information on Islamic terrorists must come from the Muslim community.

"We cannot ask people to trust us where we are not known, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council has helped to build bridges," he said.

Muslims are better able to determine "who may be talking about violence, who may be new in town and not coming to the mosque," he said.

The plan was endorsed by the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, which represents 55 mosques in the Los Angeles area.

Imam Saadiq Saafir, Shura Council vice chairman, said he believed Muslims would applaud the idea of reporting suspicious activity in their community because of the image violence has given their faith.

"Never before has a religion been condemned because of a few criminals," he said. "They stand up really to defend the character of Islam."

Yes, there is good reason why Muhammad spoke of Moses but never bothered to endorse the 10 Commandments, or even mention them. He broke every one of them regularly.

The terms ' American ' and ' Muslim ' are mutually exclusive, IMO.
One stands for tolerance of all faiths and embracing progress. The other stands for repression, brutality and 7th century thinking.
Anyone who claims to be an 'American Muslim' is a Muslim first and last and an American only as a means to change this country into an Islamic one.
God Bless America.
