Hey Joe ... trying to make friends again I see

You see Mo, that is again the difference between you and me and a few others here. I am not here to gain acceptance or be part of the little clique. Not into that.

I would do well in a home owners type association setting. LOL!

Are you watching the press conference, Joe?

Are you interested in what's going on, or are you just here to insult everyone?

Speaking about Sudan now...says the government there needs to know we are watching, we are continuing to work the issue really hard.

Asked about Iraqi oil situation and whether U.S. has screwed up. Bush says no, Iraq is producing a lot of oil. "Fine with me" that new Iraqi leaders are people who will speak up about problems as well as successes. "I vow to the people of Iraq that we will finish our mission." VERY strong closing!!!!

So begins the Bush Surge! Watch for it!

President doing well with a question that sounds like new Iraqi PM criticized the Americans efforts due to poor planning. Pres saying he respects a leader who's willing to speak his mind, likes speaking his mind hinmself (pres) and that the Pres. looks foreward to working with the new leadership,

Conference over and Fox anchor describes the President as "upbeat".

Just curious, Joe............do you believe that you, as an American white person, are innately superior to those born in Iraq?

What a stupid damn question. LOL! Is this a some kind of neocon quiz?

I am almost full blooded Apache, with some red neck mixed in, so yes, I do feel superior to Iraqis.

Yeowza!

Had we drilled at ANWR in the mid-90s..

ANWR would be past its peak today and the state would be having budget problems anyway.

I agree, W done good. I like him telling the press how it is on Congress' lack of action on energy bill. JF'nK is one of biggest leaders against drilling in Anwar.

He wants to make sure he uses the right words........and he did it very little in this speech and converation with the press.

Don't worry about it.

btw.........did you ever hear a press conference with JFK? He sounded exactly the same.

WOW.

Leftie analyst from UPI on CNN Int. just now:

"A really remarkable performance by the President. He must had a good rest this weekend. He was on message and gave a really clear view of the road ahead. "
